The 5 Best Restaurants in Brickell City Centre

6 mins read

Brickell City Centre’s culinary offerings are as great as its retail options, housing a wide range of restaurants that appeal to most foodies in need of an energy boost amidst a shopping spree. We rounded up our five restaurants in Brickell City Centre to make your decision-making process easier when you’re hungry.

Est. 33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen

Where the depth of Thailand meets the husk of America, Est. 33 is a flavor bomb in every sense of the term. They specialize in the marriage of spices between these two food capitals, for items wed on a hickory-fueled grill in high fashion. That aside, the restaurant boasts a number of appetizers, smoked meats, and traditional Thai faves. And as if the food wasn’t baller enough, Est. 33 procures their own craft brews, as the establishment was originally inspired by the creator of Singha beer and Thailand’s #1 brewery. It started in Bangkok in 1933 and it continues here in Miami. Lucky us.

Est. 33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen is located at 701 S Miami Ave, Unit 412A Brickell City Centre, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website

Marabu

A coal-fired Cuban concept is sure to grab any foodie’s attention, and when it comes to Marabu, it rightfully should. Inspired by the Cuban countryside, the menu here features traditional favorites but with a couth twist, like truffle yuca fries, grilled octopus in mojo rojo sauce, tostones rellenos with shrimp enchilado, and more. The interior draws influence from icon cities of the homeland like Camaguey to further emphasize the cultural immersion. Lunch and dinner menus differ slightly, but many of the top hits are available all day long. And expect a fully stocked drink menu to enjoy, with a bit more ease, all of the delicious fare!

Marabu is located at 701 S Miami Ave Fl 4, Center Suite 422, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website

Quinto La Huella

Nested in East Miami’s 5th floor is Quinto La Huella, a South-American restaurant with a diverse menu and exemplary dish selection. The organic design and outdoor terrace makes for a mean ambiance for indulging in the wood oven & open-fire parilla-cooked specialties. On a second note, their Chef’s Table, open for weekday lunch until 3pm, features Mediterranean-inspired goodies like salads and charcuterie for a great price. Last but not least, they also have RAW — a sushi menu with a surfeit of nigiri, rolls, and original platters for the taking. Surely not to be missed — make your reservation ASAP.

Quinto La Huella is located at 788 Brickell Plaza, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website

Sugar

Perched 40 floors atop the East Hotel, Sugar is a spiffy rooftop lounge worth any thrill-seeker’s time. The gorgeous sunset views found here work in tandem with the all-asian fare, luxuriant garden, and dope DJ sets. Perfect for food and drinks, Sugar’s got loads of signature rolls and specialty cocktails that are sure to satisfy. Go for the house-special Sugar Roll with, say, the Butterfly Effect w/ Mescal Espadin, aloe vera liquor, dry vermouth, and butterfly pea tea paint. And that’s just a peek — small plates, satay, spirits, champagne, all that. After 6pm it’s 21+ only, so keep it adulty, folks.

Sugar is located at 788 Brickell Plaza #40, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website

Tacology

Practically a metropolis based on size alone, Tacology is one of the best spots for spot-on Mexican cuisine in the city. The mercado-style taqueria slings tacos, tostadas, ceviches, and other goated favorites every single day. Doesn’t hurt that all their corn tortillas are made in-house either. On the menu, you’ll find street legends like esquites and chicharron, to south-of-the-border specialties like chilaquiles and torta del pastor. The drink menu is loaded with everything from agua horchata to a plethora of signature cocktails. Stop by on Taco Tuesdays to get a 2 taco/margarita deal for the low. Buen provecho!

Tacology is located at 4th Brickell City Centre, 701 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website
