The best brunch restaurants in Wynwood
Sha Wynwood

Wynwood, Miami’s vibrant arts district, unfolds a gastronomic symphony during brunch hours. Watch the weekend afternoons come alive with gourmands scrambling to find the best French toast, crispy fried chicken and waffles, and bottomless mimosas.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get a live music act too. Below we’ve gathered the best of the best that Wynwood’s brunch scene has to offer.

KYU

Brunch at KYU in Wynwood is a bold and flavorful affair, fusing Asian-inspired ingredients with indulgent breakfast classics. Nestled in the heart of Miami’s artistic district, KYU’s wood-fired cooking approach brings depth and smoky richness to its carefully curated brunch menu.

Start your morning with the avocado toast, where creamy avocado meets the crunch of pumpkin seeds and the tang of pickled radish. For a more decadent bite, the egg sandwich layers juicy chicken sausage, velvety truffle aioli, and melty gruyere between perfectly toasted bread. If you prefer a more elevated classic, the eggs benedict offers a choice between hot smoked salmon or tender pulled short rib, both draped in a bright yuzu hollandaise.

Meat lovers will revel in the smoked rib eye sandwich, a luxurious combination of grilled jalapeño aioli, a fried egg, and black garlic jus. Equally satisfying is the short rib hash, featuring sweet potatoes and charred peppers for a balance of richness and freshness. For those craving a spicy, umami-packed dish, the duck scramble delivers with creamy gochujang and toasted rice.

Brunch wouldn’t be complete without a sweet treat, and KYU’s cinnamon roll, topped with black sugar and chai frosting, is a must-try. The Japanese skillet pancakes, served with matcha cream and grilled maple syrup, offer a fluffy, delicate twist on a brunch staple. French toast lovers can dive into a decadent plate of banana bourbon-soaked slices drizzled with dulce de leche.

For those looking to go all in, the Korean fried chicken—drenched in chili butter and served with braised spinach—is an explosion of crunch and spice. Whatever you choose, KYU’s brunch is a vibrant experience where every bite is packed with character and creativity.

KYU is located at 251 NW 25th St, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website.

La Ferneteria

Brunch in Miami just got a major upgrade with the arrival of La Ferneteria, a stunning rooftop eatery in the heart of Wynwood. Hailing from Buenos Aires, this Italian-inspired destination is bringing a slice of Italy to Miami’s vibrant art district, offering an unforgettable brunch experience infused with both Northern and Southern Italian flavors.

Guests can expect an exquisite menu curated by Executive Chef Javier Gonzalez, featuring handmade pasta, bold seafood dishes, and show-stopping tableside presentations. For those craving something hearty, the ten-layer lasagna steals the show, crafted with layers of slow-cooked ragu and velvety béchamel.

But brunch at La Ferneteria isn’t just about the food—it’s an experience. The space, inspired by the grandeur of the Roman Empire, is draped in opulent gold accents, exotic marbles, and lush greenery, creating an atmosphere as captivating as the cuisine.
