Wednesday, October 16: Chef’s Dinner Table at Macchialina

What to Do in Miami This Week [Oct 14-20] - Elastika, Gao Miami Beach, Macchialina, Toscana Divino - November 2024

New York City’s Italian gem, Rosemary’s, is making its South Florida debut this fall, and they’re kicking things off with an exclusive Chef’s Table Dinner at Miami Beach‘s very own Macchialina this Wednesday. This is your chance to indulge in a culinary collab between Chef Mike Pirolo and Rosemary’s Executive Chef Craig Giunta—two masterminds serving up an unforgettable night. Expect a three-course, family-style feast featuring a fusion of both restaurants’ best. Start with ora king crudo with orange cream, smoked chili, and pepitas, as well as the savory caponata & rosemary focaccia. Then dive into pasta heaven with orecchiette loaded with fennel sausage, broccoli rabe, and parm, alongside Macchialina’s rich pappardelle con ragu d’anatra. End with the decadent chocolate torta or olive oil cake. Tickets are $95+ per person, and diners can add wine pairings for an extra $45 and make one for the books this evening. Make sure to get your tickets beforehand.

Macchialina is located at 820 Alton Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139.

Friday, October 18: Dinner at Elastika

What to Do in Miami This Week [Oct 14-20] - Elastika, Gao Miami Beach, Macchialina, Toscana Divino - November 2024

Join us for dinner as we experience fall dining at Elastika at The Moore. Now open seven days a week under the culinary direction of Executive Chef Joe Anthony, this spot blends global flavors into modern American cuisine that’s pure fire. Their new prix-fixe menus are perfect for those who crave both variety and sophistication, and dinner here will set you back $70, but it’s oh-so worth it. Come dinner, and things get spicy yet luxurious with aged kingfish crudo, perfectly grilled miso marinated NY strip, and delicate spice-seared diver scallops. Lastly, don’t skip dessert—chamomile poached peaches are the sweet finale you didn’t know you needed.

Elastika is located at 191 NE 40th St, Miami, FL 33137. For more information, visit their official website

Sunday, October 19: Dinner at Gao

What to Do in Miami This Week [Oct 14-20] - Elastika, Gao Miami Beach, Macchialina, Toscana Divino - November 2024

Gao just dropped onto the Miami Beach food scene, bringing modern Asian flavors that are approachable but pack a punch. Their in-house dim sum game is on point, with bites like Har Gow Shrimp loaded with shiitake and water chestnuts or Gold Fish—seabass cooked with scallions, carrots, and ginger. For larger plates, don’t miss out on the sizzling tenderloin sautee served with plenty of aromatics or the caramelized GAO peppercorn prawns. This is a family-style type of establishment, so gather your squad and order a spread of everything that calls your name. The portions are made for sharing so you can sample the full spectrum.
