Casa Gianna is spicing up Downtown Miami with its grand opening at Gale Miami Hotel and Residences, bringing a bold twist to Italian dining. By day, it’s a cozy café dishing out Italian-inspired breakfasts and pastries at Café Gianna, Miami’s answer to traditional Cuban ventanitas. By night, it transforms into a stunning dining spot led by Chef David Caceres, known for elevating classics with modern flair – that’s when you’ll find us there this Tuesday. Think wood-fired artisanal pizzas, handcrafted pastas like gnocchi cacio e pepe, and bold dishes like pistachio-crusted salmon and short rib fagotelli.

Designed by Laseu Studio, the 9,000-square-foot space blends nostalgic trattoria vibes with a sleek modern touch, complete with a 360 bar and a lush outdoor terrazza. Sip on craft cocktails like the Tuscan Mule or a Limoncello Spritz during Aperitivo Hour, perfect for pre-game or post-event hangs. See you there!

Casa Gianna is located at 601 NE 1st Ave. Miami FL, 33132. For more information, visit their official website.

Wednesday, November 27: Drinksgiving at Barsecco

What to Do in Miami This Week [Nov 25-Dec 1] - Barsecco, Casa Gianna, Primo's, RED South Beach, weekly, Yaya Miami - December 2024

We’re gathering all your besties and heading straight to our favorite Brickell hangout this Wednesday — Barsecco. You already know Barsecco has one of the best happy hours in the neighborhood, and we’re so there for it during a little Thanksgiving weekend pregame.

Get here bright and early because Happy Hour commences at 4 p.m. and lasts up till 8, meaning you’ll get four hours of delicious cocktails and tapas. Start off with the signature craft cocktails, all priced at $10, like the Spicy Cucumber Cilantro Margarita or Pama Spritz made with pomegranate liquor, Prosecco, and fresh raspberries, or go straight for the beers and wines priced at $7-8. Tapas are $9 a plate and include mouthwatering options like golden fried calamari with aji Amarillo aioli or Serrano croquettes with house-made berry preserves. Oh, and the best part? Wednesday is also Ladies’ Night, meaning complimentary Prosecco for all the ladies! Cheers!

Thursday, November 28: Thanksgiving at Yaya Miami

What to Do in Miami This Week [Nov 25-Dec 1] - Barsecco, Casa Gianna, Primo's, RED South Beach, weekly, Yaya Miami - December 2024

This year, ditch the ordinary and savor Thanksgiving with a Mediterranean flair at Yaya Coastal Cuisine. Gather your loved ones for a family-style feast bursting with bold flavors and vibrant dishes, plus amazing water-front seating.

We’re kicking things off with cold mezze delights like creamy hummus, smoky melitzanosalata, and mouhammara, a roasted red pepper, and walnut dip. Then, let’s move on to irresistible hot mezze like crispy eggplant & zucchini or roasted heirloom carrots drizzled with pomegranate and labneh. For the main event, choose from slow-roasted natural turkey with a cranberry-pomegranate twist, pistachio-crusted Colorado rack of lamb, or pan-seared branzino with Provençale vinaigrette. Then, let’s round out your meal with mouthwatering sides like house-made brioche stuffing and roasted garlic potato purée. Finally, for a sweet finish, let’s dig into the chef’s seasonal desserts, or go big with Colossal Florida Stone Crabs or a show-stopping 30 oz. “Buttero” Ribeye. Priced at $135 per person, this may not be your most classic Thanksgiving spread, but the flavors are as comforting and delicious as ever.

Yaya Miami is located at 7999 NE Bayshore Ct, Miami, FL 33138. For more information, visit their official website.
