Kosushi is as swanky as it gets. It’s a special occasion kind of place, with spectacular interior design by non-other than award-winning Brazilian architect Arthur Casas. The epic ceiling construction which follows the Japanese art of wood joinery will leave any visitor in awe.  However, don’t let the high-end looks fool you. The sushi is as authentic as ever and will be giving any Japan-side sushi bar some competition. With 30 years already under their belt, the Sao Paolo branch has been awarded a Michelin star five years in a row. It’s no wonder Miamians flocked to make reservations as soon as the sushi bar opened its doors in the South Pointe neighborhood.  Executive Chef Edwin Delgado brings Miami epicureans a taste of Kosushi’s magic which has won over Brazil. With a dash of local fusion. Enjoy top-notch cuts of the freshest seafood and original creations like the Salmon Belly Tartare (paired with osetra caviar and taro chips) and the Tamago Frai (organic soft boiled egg in a crispy salmon shell, sweet potato nest, ikura, and a hint of truffle). For smooth sips, choose from Ko’s multitude of sake, or go for one of the signature cocktails, like the Shokobutsuen — an enticing concoction of Gin, lemon juice, basil, cucumber, mint, and organic sugar syrup. The plethora of flavors goes perfectly well with the superb selection of sushi.  Make sure to grab a seat at the craftily designed circular table to see the magic happen firsthand.
