Musimelange Brings Enchanting Chamber Music to The National Hotel

The iconic National Hotel Miami Beach is elevating its cultural offerings with the debut of Musimelange, an immersive chamber music series set to captivate audiences with multisensory experiences. This exciting partnership transforms the historic Art Deco property into a stage-less haven for classical music lovers, complete with curated wine pairings and gourmet hors d’oeuvres crafted by The National’s award-winning culinary team.

The four-part series, launching on January 27, celebrates the intersection of music, art, and hospitality in a uniquely intimate setting. General Manager Stephane Mercier expressed the significance of this collaboration:

“As an Art Deco hotel, one of the few remaining on Miami Beach, music and art in all forms has been ingrained in the DNA of the experience we offer since the beginning. Partnering with Musimelange to host their next season of interactive events at The National Hotel Miami Beach is a natural fit. As the series commences in our historic space, we’re eager to welcome classical music enthusiasts to become immersed in our authentic Art Deco atmosphere.”

Each event in the series offers a different thematic journey through the timeless beauty of chamber music:

  • January 27: The Piano Trio
The season opens with the brilliance of Liszt, Fauré, and Mendelssohn, delivering a masterful selection of Romantic-era pieces.
  • March 10: Baroque Splendor
This evening showcases Bach and Vivaldi’s elegance and brilliance, highlighting Western classical music’s grandeur.
  • April 14: Transamazonia Ballet
Pianist and composer José Gallegos takes center stage with his original compositions, blending jazz, world music, and rhythms inspired by the Amazon.
  • May 19: Tutti 4.0
The finale is a vibrant fusion of classical and jazz, celebrating the universality of music and the bonds of friendship.

Beyond the performances, Musimelange draws inspiration from the grand salons of the Belle Époque, a time when art and community flourished in intimate gatherings. Each event provides attendees with an immersive evening of music, complemented by signature cocktails, wine, champagne, and desserts—all reflective of The National Hotel’s ethos of classic-meets-contemporary hospitality.

Tickets start at $106 for individual concerts or $375 for a season pass, with VIP options available. Guests can purchase tickets at the event website.

The National Hotel

Since its inception in Miami in 2010, Musimelange has earned a reputation as a cornerstone of the city’s cultural scene. Partnering with The National Hotel underscores both entities’ dedication to fostering creativity and enriching Miami Beach’s artistic landscape. Whether you’re a classical music aficionado or simply seeking a refined evening out, this series promises an unforgettable blend of music, art, and ambiance.
