Tuesday, January 2: A Toast to Dry January at Social 27 Supper Club

Join us with a toast to guilt-free libations at Social 27 Supper Club, Miami’s hottest new Cuban supper club, which has prepared for us an array of alcohol-free sips for the new year. Dry January will be chock-full of sparkling lemonades and mocktails galore. Elevate your palate with the invigorating zest of freshly squeezed lemon and lime juices, impeccably harmonized to craft a symphony of citrusy delight.

The party doesn’t stop there — ascend to the pinnacle of mocktail sophistication with the restaurant’s artisanal purees, boasting lush flavors like mango, passion fruit, and a medley of meticulously muddled berries. Social 27 is reshaping the landscape of Dry January, offering a revitalizing burst of flavors that will leave you poised to conquer the month with unparalleled panache. Here’s to a spirited and wholesomely stylish beginning to the year – cheers!

Friday, Saturday 5: Omakase at Paperfish Sushi

What’s a better start to the year than with an exquisite omakase experience at Paperfish Sushi on Espanola Way? In Japan, the New Year is taken seriously, with days worth of preparations for the ultimate feast of the year including fresh fish and other lucky foods meant to bring prosperity in the new year.

Sure, we may not be in Japan, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start the new year off on the right note. Thankfully, just a step into Paperfish Sushi, and you’re bound to feel transported straight into the lively streets of Tokyo. All that’s left is the bountiful feast, and Paperfish delivers. Nikkei ceviche, tiradito apasionado, chef-choice signature nigiri, sashimi, and maki will all make their way onto your New Year’s table. Bring a friend to split the munificence — the Omakase Paperfish is meant to be shared!

Saturday, January 6: Tanuki River Landing Grand Opening

Tanuki River Landing, a culinary sensation that has conquered Miami’s epicurean scene in just a few short months, is gearing up for an epic celebration! Save the date – Saturday, January 6th – as we mark the official grand opening in triumphant style, toasting to the newly acquired liquor license at Tanuki River Landing. Prepare for a night of unparalleled excitement, where the air will be charged with the beats of a live DJ, captivating entertainment, and an irresistible array of canapés. Don’t forget the colossal sake barrel at the bar, ready to elevate the evening to legendary status.

As you immerse yourself in the festivities, don’t miss the chance to savor the Asian fusion culinary masterpieces – from delectable scallops in a black truffle vinaigrette to the irresistible spicy tuna crispy rice. This grand opening is not just an event; it’s a showcase of the restaurant’s prowess in delivering an unforgettable sensory experience.

Sunday, January 7: Boozy Brunch at Barsecco

Let’s face it: Dry January just isn’t for everyone. No fret — we can keep it balanced with healthy mocktails during the week and boozy brunch once the weekend hits. Join us for our first brunch outing of the year at Miami’s swankiest restaurant, Barsecco. From 12 to 4 p.m., the restaurant will be pouring up unlimited mimosas alongside a DJ set and live entertainment.

Your eyes will probably run wild at the sight of the lengthy brunch menu full of scrumptious bites. Start the year off in style and go for the restaurant’s revered smoked salmon tower, which is meant to be shared. It’s the ultimate brunch fare: thinly sliced Norwegian salmon alongside a tall stack of assorted bagels, further paired with tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, capers, soft-boiled eggs, and chive cream cheese. With all sincerity, what more does one need?
