Tuesday, September 2: Miami Spice Dinner at Ironside Pizza

There are two main reasons we love the Miami Spice Dinner at Ironside Pizza, and we keep coming back before September ends: the affordable menu and the charming outdoor garden. Oh, and one more thing: the menu has enough variety to keep us coming back weekly and trying something new every time.
This week, we’re going for the caprese reloaded—local beefsteak tomatoes, artisan burrata, and garden-fresh basil and oregano make for the perfect start to a meal at Ironside. Moving on, the wood-fired salmon served alongside seasonal roasted veggies is utterly lush. Although if you’re stopping by with a friend, sharing the pizza Calabrese—a white pie with spicy sausage, garlic, and Calabrian chili—is a must. For dessert? The tiramisu, no question.
Thursday, September 4: Miami Spice Lunch at Kitchen 57

As the last month of Miami Spice commences, we’re making the rounds to revisit our favorites and snag the best deals the city has to offer. Next on our list: Kitchen 57. The contemporary American restaurant offers those soul-warming classics we just can’t resist, and the $35 lunch deal is something we’re not skipping out on.
Starting with the grilled Caesar salad, featuring charred romaine lettuce, a creamy Caesar dressing, shaved parmesan cheese, and hand-cut croutons—perfection. Entrees lean hearty, like the shaved rib-eye Philly grilled cheese packed with sweet caramelized onions, smoked gouda cheese, provolone, and tomato jam, all on thick-cut challah bread and served with hand-cut fries. There’s also an open-faced eggplant parm that’s the epitome of comfort food. On the lighter side, Belgian-style mussels steamed in a white wine broth make an incredibly flavor-packed lunch. We round off the meal with a Key lime custard, and it’s pure foodie heaven.
Friday, September 5: World Samosa Day

World Samosa Day calls for crispy bites and plenty of chutney, and we’re celebrating at Bombay Darbar. Few things hit the spot like a plate of golden samosas—that flaky pastry shell giving way to spiced potatoes and peas in every satisfying bite. Dunk them in tangy tamarind, and suddenly you’re hooked before the entrées even land on the table.
Of course, that’s just the start of the feast. Bombay Darbar makes a mighty good mango chicken curry and an outright addictive chicken tikka masala, although the lamb roganjosh is hard to pass up every time we visit. So gather your crew, order a round (or two)—because nothing brings people together like crispy, golden samosas.
Saturday, September 6: Dinner at the Newly Reopened Hereford Grill

Mark your calendars, Miami—Hereford Grill is back. After a long hiatus, the beloved steakhouse reopens its doors on September 5, bringing some fire, flavor, and a fresh new look to Le Jeune Road. The team at Da Silva Hospitality, the folks behind Coral Gables’ Zucca, has reimagined this classic spot with charcoal- and wood-fired steaks, sleek interiors, and plenty of swagger.
Expect prime cuts like American Wagyu ribeye, “Manhattan Cut” New York steak, and center-cut filet, all served with curated sauces and butters. Beyond the grill, the menu branches out with smart updates on steakhouse traditions: think sweetbreads with chickpea purée, braised short rib with black garlic, or organic carrots with garlic confit and mint gremolata. And because no good steakhouse skips the bar, Hereford Grill rolls out frontier-inspired cocktails, plus weekly specials that keep the vibe lively.
Hereford Grill is located at 782 NW 42nd Ave #5, Miami, FL 33126. For more information, visit their official website.
