Technicians use specialized electric-file attachments to refine the area around the nail, then apply gel extremely close to the cuticle, so the grow-out takes much longer to become obvious. Best for: Color, smoothing, and a scalp that gets taken seriously.
Co-founder Deborah Almeida Sabella, a senior colorist and extensions specialist with more than 15 years of experience, is behind this lobby-level salon inside 701 Brickell Avenue. The core is what you want from a serious hair room: precision cuts, color, extensions, and keratin and smoothing, with Davines as the main product line.
Prices are posted, which is rarer than it should be at this level. Women’s cuts start at $95, a bouncy blowout at $85, and balayage at $440. Smoothing is a specialty, with a Brazilian Blowout starting at $370 and a formaldehyde-free Cezanne keratin starting at $475.
What sets it apart is the hair-therapy menu. A $25 specialist consultation analyzes your scalp under a magnifying camera before anyone recommends a treatment, and the menu runs from a $60 Scalp Reset Ritual to LED-laser packages. Makeup starts at $120 (bridal from $275), which makes it a practical single stop before an event. Parking in the building is validated for the first two hours.

Neish Hair
Best for: Extensions and any color work that has to survive them.
Monica Neish built her reputation in Toronto before bringing the operation to Brickell Bay Drive, and what she brought with her is hard to replicate: two decades of manufacturing her own extension hair, and the technical judgment that comes with it.
The specialty is advanced extension methods applied with an obsessive focus on not wrecking the hair underneath. That sounds like standard salon-speak until you’ve sat through a consultation, where the conversation is less about length and more about your density, your growth pattern, and whether the method you want is actually appropriate for the hair you have. Sometimes the answer is no, which is a meaningful signal in this category.
Neish also handles the service almost nobody else will touch properly: volume-and-body blowouts on extensions, where sloppy handling shows up instantly. Color is custom-formulated to blend the extension hair with your own, which separates work that looks expensive from work that looks like extensions.

Studio-D Brickell
Best for: Color and highlights, with nails and brows in the same afternoon.
Owners Julian and Dinho Payan grew Studio-D from a two-chair salon into the big room on the second floor of Mary Brickell Village, with close to 20 stylists, nail artists, and aestheticians on the roster. Dinho, a Brazilian hairdresser and Kérastase ambassador with more than 30 years behind the chair, sets the tone, and highlights and color are what reviewers mention most.
Prices are posted, which is rarer than it should be at this level. A women’s cut is $110 ($150 with a blow-dry), a blow-dry is $80, beach waves are $95, full INOA color is $175, and a keratin treatment is $390. The salon carries Kérastase and Shu Uemura, and extensions come in five methods, from tape-ins to microlinks.
What makes it a full-service stop is everything around the hair: manicures from $38 (gel from $51), $70 spa pedicures, and a beauty menu covering lash extensions and lifts, brow lamination, threading, microblading, waxing, facials, massage, and makeup. There’s even a podiatry menu for medical-style foot care. The staff speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and the salon is open seven days a week.

Trini Salon and Spa
Best for: Hair, nails, and brows in one visit, even after work.
The name comes from Trini, a stylist who left Paris for Miami and opened the original Trini in Private in 2006; the salon has kept its Brickell Avenue address for more than 15 years. The menu covers the full circuit: a hair salon, a Russian manicure menu, and a spa side for brows, lashes, waxing, and facials.
On the hair side, a shampoo, cut, and blow-dry starts at $115, balayage and ombré at $295, and a Brazilian Blowout keratin treatment at $260, with extensions priced by consultation. Stations are separated by side wings, so you’re not sharing a mirror with a stranger’s foils.
Nails drive the volume, and pedicures show up in reviews more than anything else. A classic manicure starts at $30, the Russian manicure at $60, and a classic pedicure at $45. The spa menu also includes lash lifts, brow lamination, and waxing, plus facials from $95 up to lymphatic facial rituals and a signature facial built on Biologique Recherche and Valmont.
It’s open seven days a week until 9 p.m., which makes an after-work appointment realistic, and valet is next door at 951 Brickell Ave. Regulars tend to book a specific stylist or technician by name, and that’s the move here. Parking is the hidden cost. Garage and valet rates add up fast on a two-hour color appointment, so check what’s covered before you pull in. Da Beauty Bar has complimentary valet, Hello Beauty Concept validates the first two hours, and Studio-D validates the Mary Brickell Village garage (entrance on SW 10th Street) but not the valet out front.
Book a week out, minimum. The good rooms here run near capacity, and color and extension appointments, which book in long blocks, need the most lead time. Standing appointments are the local solution.
