Monday, February 3: Lobster Mondays at RED South Beach

What to Do in Miami This Week [Feb 3-9] - Ironside Pizza, PaperFish Sushi Bar, RED South Beach, weekly, Wyn Wyn at Arlo Wynwod - February 2025

Monday nights at RED South Beach are anything but ordinary. Lobster Mondays transforms the start of the week into a ritual of indulgence, where Chef Peter curates an oceanic feast of the finest crustaceans, flown in fresh and prepared to perfection. Whether it’s the decadent lobster stuffed lobster, the rich, buttery stuffed tail, or the crisp bite of two golden fried tails, each dish will have you making reservations for Monday night at RED on the regular.

For purists, the 1.25-pound broiled or steamed lobster offers a simple yet sublime experience, best paired with a glass of chilled Chablis. Prices range between $49 and $79 for the Monday night Maine lobster dishes, which is a steal if you ask us. Reservations are highly recommended.

Wynwood’s hottest new dining destination is about to make its mark. Opening February 5 at Arlo Wynwood, Wyn Wyn is a bold new concept helmed by Hawaii-born Chef David Robbins, whose menu draws inspiration from Peru, Polynesia, Southeast Asia, and beyond. With a focus on sustainability and locally sourced superfoods, Wyn Wyn takes a community-driven approach to dining, blending bold, global flavors with an effortlessly cool, art-forward ambiance. Expect wood, stone, and lush greenery juxtaposed with oversized art installations and dynamic lighting, all centered around an open kitchen and a six-seat Chef’s Counter for an immersive dining experience.

From the beet tartare with mango “yolk” to the banana leaf-wrapped local snapper, every dish is a show-stopper, with an emphasis on clean eating and gluten-free options. Pair it with a superfood-infused cocktail—think pecan-infused bourbon or wheatgrass gin—and settle into a space designed to wow each diner. Make your reservations beforehand.

Wyn Wyn is located at 110 NW 26th St, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website.

Saturday, February 8: Happy Hour at Paperfish Sushi

Kampai to everyone who successfully got through Dry January! And if you weren’t participating—we’re with you too. Now, let’s celebrate with a drink or two at one of the best happy hours in Miami Beach over at Paperfish Sushi. This spot channels the essence of a Tokyo izakaya, where the rhythm of the night unfolds over expertly crafted Nikkei cuisine and a sake-fueled hum of conversation. The space is equal parts neon-lit energy and understated elegance, making it the perfect hideaway for a spontaneous night out.

The real draw? Kampai Happy Hour, daily from 4 to 7 p.m., where Japanese beers, wine, and sake flow for just $6.95, and signature cocktails—like the infamous lychee martini or a classic mojito—come in at $7.95. Pair your pour with picante rocoto ceviche, chef’s selection sashimi, or crispy rice tuna, all for $7.95.

Sunday, February 9: National Pizza Day at Ironside Pizza

What to Do in Miami This Week [Feb 3-9] - Ironside Pizza, PaperFish Sushi Bar, RED South Beach, weekly, Wyn Wyn at Arlo Wynwod - February 2025

At Ironside Pizza, Neapolitan tradition meets obsessive craftsmanship. Here, pizza is more than a dish—it’s a devotion. The dough, composed of just four essential ingredients—flour, salt, water, and yeast—undergoes a meticulous 48-hour fermentation, resulting in a light, airy crust with just the right chew. Fired in a wood-burning oven, every pie emerges with that perfect balance of crisp and char.

For the ultimate indulgence, the parmacotto and ananas pizza is nonnegotiable. Mozzarella fior di latte, parmacotto, and pineapple. A masterpiece? Without question. And for those with dietary preferences, gluten-free and vegan options ensure that everyone gets a taste of pizza done right.
