At The One Who Travels, jewelry isn’t merchandise—it’s a record of hands and hometowns. Guatemalan designer Edgar Navarro curates the shop around Latin American artisans whose work rarely makes it stateside, let alone onto a Miami sales floor. The centerpiece is his own line, Edgar Navarro Jewelry, built on artisanal techniques passed down through generations and made with semiprecious stones set in metalwork that has texture and history in it. These are pieces meant to be worn as evidence of somewhere, not just something.

The Wynwood shop sits inside the Miami Yoga Garage, the warehouse that houses Miami Life Center, and you walk through the store to get anywhere else. Tables of textiles, ceramics, scents, and jewelry stand between the front door and the yoga rooms at the back of the space. It’s a layout that works in your favor: you browse because you’re already there, and you leave with something you weren’t looking for.

Navarro curates a second shop at Life Center’s Lincoln Road location in South Beach, where the mix leans slightly beachier while keeping the same artisan sourcing. Either address works as a gift stop or a slow-shopping afternoon, but the draw is the same at both: jewelry with a point of view, chosen by someone who clearly has one himself.
