The Mane Event at Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center

Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center, the Kendall riding center that pairs children and adults with special needs or disabilities with its horses, hosts The Mane Event, a sip-and-shop fundraiser with a fashion show, a silent auction, and an afternoon of holiday shopping. Eighteen vendors set up at the center, among them Boards by Shore’s fine woodcraft, Jacqui’s Pearls, Cocoa Couture, and Max the Baker, and the dress code is equestrian chic. It runs Sunday, November 1, from 1–4 p.m., and tickets are $60 in advance or $75 at the door, with proceeds benefiting the center.
