The South Beach Seafood Festival returns for its 14th year with four days of dinners, culinary competitions, and beachfront tastings across Miami and Miami Beach. The lineup opens Wednesday with Made in Miami at Phuc Yea, continues Thursday with pairing dinners at Rao’s Miami Beach and Macchialina, and moves to Lummus Park for Friday’s VIP Chef Showdown and Saturday’s Seafood Slam.
Friday’s showdown features 18 chefs across nine head-to-head battles. Saturday’s all-inclusive finale brings together more than 40 South Florida restaurants, live entertainment, the Best of the Fest vote, the Home Chef Competition, and the inaugural Shuck’n the Sunshine State oyster-shucking competition.
The festival runs Wednesday, October 21, through Saturday, October 24. Made in Miami and An Evening in Miami Beach begin at 7 p.m.; the VIP Chef Showdown runs Friday from 7–11 p.m.; and Seafood Slam runs Saturday from 1–5 p.m. Individual event tickets start at $160. Wednesday through Friday events are 21 and older; Saturday is open to all ages, with free admission for children younger than 10.
