The 10 Best Restaurants in Doral

Beyond the tourist tracks and trendy neighborhoods, Doral’s been quietly cooking up something spectacular. This under-the-radar enclave is Miami’s best-kept culinary secret—until now. Here are 10 spots proving why Doral deserves your next dinner reservation.

Bulla Gastrobar

Bulla Gastrobar in Doral is a vibrant addition to Miami’s ever-expanding culinary scene. This trendy eatery blends urban sophistication with warm hospitality, creating an inviting space that’s perfect for both casual gatherings and special occasions. With its chic interiors, complete with modern accents and cozy lighting, Bullo Gastro provides a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere that diners adore.

The menu here is a masterful showcase of contemporary Latin fusion cuisine. Each dish bursts with creativity, seamlessly blending traditional flavors with innovative techniques. Crowd favorites include their perfectly seared steaks, indulgent truffle fries or pastas, and the classic Bulla burger, all meticulously plated to please both the palate and the eye. Pair your meal with a handcrafted cocktail or a selection from their curated wine list for the ultimate dining experience.

Whether you’re stopping by for a leisurely lunch, a lively dinner, or a weekend brunch, Bulla Gastro offers an unforgettable culinary adventure.

Bulla Gastro is located at 11402 NW 41st St, Doral, FL 33178. For more information, visit their official website.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant

For an upscale dining experience in Doral, make a reservation at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant. As you can probably tell from the name, the eatery is big on wine; you’ll find a long list of great wines by the glass and by the bottle. The wine alone is worth the visit, but you should at least get a few things to nosh on. The cuisine pulls influences from all over, so you’ll find everything from Asian pork belly and Italian sausage and whipped burrata flatbread to prime churrasco grilled steak, chicken madeira, and fish and chips. Both the wine and the food menu are extensive, so we don’t blame you if you spend all afternoon here—we would, too.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is located at 3585 NW 83rd Avenue, Doral, FL 33122. For more information, visit their official website.

Divieto Ristorante

When it comes to Italian food in Doral, there’s one restaurant that should always be top of mind: Divieto Ristorante. With over 70 different dishes to choose from, Divieto has something for everyone—and then some. Can’t make up your mind? You can never go wrong with best-sellers like the Divieto Pulpo (octopus), the burrata pizza, the gnocchi pesto, and the carbonara. Start with those and don’t worry about missing out on other dishes—you’ll definitely be back.

Divieto Ristorante is located at 10650 NW 41st Street, Doral, FL 33178. For more information, visit their official website

Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market

Asian cuisine is everywhere in Doral, but few spots are as tasty as Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market. The restaurant features a plethora of shareable plates that will keep you coming back. Expect to find rolls, noodles, seafood, and veggies galore, including favorites like miso cauliflower, robata grilled sweet corn, shrimp tempura, and braised short rib. The biggest draw here, though, is the generous happy hour offerings available every day from 5 to 7 p.m. (and all day on Sundays!).

Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market is located at 5241 NW 87th Avenue, Doral, FL 33178. For more information, visit their official website

El Porton de La Flaca

A big appetite is required at El Porton de La Flaca, a Colombian spot that does not skimp on portions. Literally, everything is huge here—you can order a few apps and leave completely satisfied. Speaking of apps, do not leave without trying their mouthwatering empanadas with beef and potatoes. In terms of entrees, the breaded pork chops and churrasco are always solid but it’s the bandeja paisa that’s a cut above the rest: rice, red beans, fried egg, pork skin, charbroiled steak, sweet plantains, and a corn patty. Say hello to leftovers.

El Porton de La Flaca is located at 1460 NW 107th Avenue, Suite B, Doral, FL 33172. For more information, visit their official Facebook page

Famous Dave’s BBQ Restaurant

We’re grateful for Dave Anderson, the famous pitmaster behind Doral’s best BBQ spot. Famous Dave’s may be a chain restaurant, but it’s a pretty darn great one. From the burnt ends and the chili cheese fries to the Texas beef brisket and smoked jalapeno cheddar sausage, Famous Dave’s sets the bar high for BBQ in Doral—and Miami in general. If there’s one thing you should try, it’s the baby back ribs; the Chicago-style rub is to die for.

Famous Dave’s BBQ Restaurant is located at 8210 NW 36th Street, Miami, FL 33166. For more information, visit their official website

MNB Kitchen

The team behind Coral Way’s favorite steakhouse The Wagyu Bar have set up shop inside Tripping Animals Brewery in Doral. This new outpost is called MNB Kitchen, and as you’d expect from this team, it’s heavy on the meats. Selections range from wagyu beef carpaccio and bacon mac and cheese to ribeye, brisket burgers, and roast beef sandwiches; this is not a good place for plant-based diets. If you don’t want meat, though, there are a few options like octopus carpaccio, tuna tataki and spinach dip to help you balance the beers.

MNB Kitchen is located at 2685 NW 105th Avenue, Miami, FL 33172. For more information, visit their official website

Shoma Bazaar

Ok, we’re cheating a little. Shoma Bazaar isn’t a restaurant—it’s a food hall. But it’s a food hall full of stellar local brands like Ash Parlor (pizza), Ella’s Oyster Bar (seafood), Pubbelly Sushi (self-explanatory), and Doce Provisions (Cuban street food). The place is niiiiiiiiice, but don’t let the gorgeous aesthetics fool you: Everything is relatively affordable. We could see ourselves coming here regularly for lunch or drinks and light bites with friends. Parking is limited, though, so make sure to visit during off-hours.

Shoma Bazaar is located at 9420 NW 41st Street, Doral, FL 33178. For more information, visit their official website

Sushi Joe

Sushi Joe in Doral is one of those places that if you know, you know. The unassuming, under-the-radar Japanese spot leans heavily on sushi—no surprise there—but there’s also an abundance of noodle and rice dishes to enjoy. On the sushi side of things, we like that they tend to have more cooked rolls than other eateries—it’s nice to have more choices than the usual raw selections. If you can’t decide on what to order, consider one of Sushi Joe’s generous platters or combos that have a little bit of everything.

Sushi Joe is located at 9557 NW 41st Street, Doral, FL 33178. For more information, visit their official website

The Fatty Crab

Listen up, seafood fans: The Fatty Crab is one of the best Doral restaurants for crab and cajun seafood specialties. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, featuring tasty bites like fried frog legs, crab cakes, shrimp and chicken pasta, and cajun crispy corn rib. The star of the show, however, is the eatery’s signature seafood boil that you can get with shrimp, black mussels, crawfish, and—our personal favorite—the Dungeness crab. Pick your protein, your sauce, and your spice, and prepare to get messy. For variety, consider one of the seafood boil combos that give you a lot of this and a lot of that, and some of that. Warning: Prepare to smell afterward.

The Fatty Crab is located at 2000 NW 87th Avenue, Suite 7, Doral, Florida 33172. For more information, visit their official website
