With DineOut Lauderdale starting next month (as well as Miami Spice, which we’ll be addressing separately), plenty of new brunch options, and a bunch of special summer activations, July has no shortage of deals, promos, and specials to keep you busy, full and boozy. Celebrate National Chicken Wing Day, July 29

National Chicken Wing Day, a day to celebrate the glorious bird treats in all their splendor, officially falls on Friday, July 29. Here are a few restaurants honoring the day with specials, including one for vegans. 

BBQ & Craft Company at The Lincoln Eatery: Dru Rub Wings ($12 for 6 or $18 for 12), covered in a creamy Alabama-style white BBQ sauce.

EST. 33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen: $16 Spiced Crispy Wings, marinated for 24 hours in sweet chili sauce—also available at happy hour prices for $8 between 4-7 p.m.

DineOut Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale residents and those who don’t mind the trek up north will be excited to learn about this year’s Dine Out Lauderdale participants. Below is a short roundup of spots offering up specials you won’t want to miss, available from August through September.

American Social

Every day after 4 p.m. guests can enjoy AmSo’s Dine Out (3-course) dinner menu for $45, excluding tax and gratuity. This year’s Dine Out menu includes the most popular comfort food starters, main plates, and sweets. There will also be a roster of refreshing $13 hand-crafted cocktails on the menu.

El Vez

El Vez’ prix-fixe lunch and dinner offerings are priced at $35 and $45, respectively. Each consists of a three-course meal with items like carne asada skewers with marinated steak, salsa pasilla, chile torreado, and spicy citrus sauce; baja shrimp taco with beer battered shrimp, cabbage, pico de gallo, and cremayo; pozole rojo with chile guajillo and tomato braised pork, hominy, served with tostadas, radish, crema, and queso; crispy yellowtail snapper with piquillo-habanero aioli, and chimichurri.

PLANTA Queen Fort Lauderdale

PLANTA Queen is offering diners a lunch and dinner menu full of plant-based bites and deserts. Lunch will be priced at $35 and dinner will be priced at $45 (not including tax and gratuity). Menu items include options such as daikon katsu bao with sweet & sour sauce, mayo, and slaw; crispy tofu & broccoli with chili crisp, sesame, and steamed rice; Singapore noodles with curry, kale, peppers, cilantro, crispy shallots, Thai basil and lime; and Vietnamese coffee sundae with vanilla ice cream, chia pudding, mochi, and coffee sauce.

Steak 954

Steak 954’s Dine Out menu features a prix-fixe dinner priced at $45, which includes a 3-course menu featuring dishes like snapper crudo with avocado, brown butter, and pickled chilis; steak frites, 6 oz prime steak and fries; tuna steak, seared rare with haricot verts, fingerling potatoes, and saffron aioli; rum cake with pineapple compote and more!

Hutong Launches Bubbles & Bao Brunch

From its home in Hong Kong, Hutong brings a fresh take on Chinese cuisine boasting fiery Northern Chinese dishes. Their newly launched Sunday brunch, from noon-4 p.m., offers guests a 2-hour Bubbles and Bao prix-fixe menu starting at $68 per person with various beverage upgrades for an additional cost. Their menu includes starters like the Hutong Dan Dan Noodles and vegetarian spring rolls; mains like duck fried rice; and desserts.

Jaguar Sun’s New Summer Menu Items

The beloved cocktail and pasta restaurant recently added a few new goodies to its menu. Think grouper tartare with avocado and finger lime; striped bass crudo with passionfruit, celery, and poppy; gigante beans with boquerones and parsley; tagliatelle with mushroom, sherry, and egg yolk and campanelle with middleneck clams and shishito puree.

Joia Beach Launches New Brunch

Get ready to enjoy a new American Riviera Sunday brunch, an extravagant daytime brunch featuring entertainment, craft cocktails, and champagne-soaked afternoons. Dishes include chef Gustavo Vertone’s specialty Belgian waffles, filet mignon and eggs, and a bagel tower with smoked salmon, accouterments, and tuna tartare. Brunch will feature DJs, sparklers, and dancers; available Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

Juvia Kicks off All-New Sunday Brunch

With a party-like rooftop experience, Juvia’s new brunch will feature live music by a Cuban-American singer, resident DJ David Rondon, and a live saxophonist. Brunch menu items will feature a variety of unique appetizers such as the ceviche carretillero made with white fish, crispy calamari, and red onions; main courses such as the smoked salmon eggs benedict served with yuzu hollandaise sauce and country toasted bread; and sides such as the causa croquette made with aji Amarillo aioli, red onions and micro cilantro. With the purchase of a main course, guests can opt into a $35 two-hour bottomless brunch options including their choice of mimosas, bellinis, proseccos, Avion tequila margaritas, or Aperol spritzes. Brunch is available Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

National Hotel Launches Industry Night Mondays and All About Natural Wines Thursdays

National Hotel’s new Industry Night on Mondays means industry professionals get 50 percent off all food and beverage every Monday! In order to take advantage of this promotion, diners must book through OpenTable with a maximum of 12 people per reservation. This offer, unfortunately, excludes the Miami Spice menu and will run through August 31. Additionally, all guests can enjoy $7 wine by the glass and 50 percent off select bottles when dining at Mareva 1939 or Bar 1939 from 5 p.m. to midnight every Thursday. This promotion also runs through August 31st

Plant Miami Unveils Sunset Happy Hour

Always with something up their sleeve, Plant Miami’s summer plans are right on point. The plant-based eatery’s newest offerings? Sunset Happy Hour for the month of July from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On the new, limited-time happy hour menu, you’ll find items like flatbread, made with sourdough, tomato marinara, coconut mozzarella, cured beets, baby arugula, and aseto balsamic; truffle Cheese, served with orange peel marmalade and potato lavash; blossom relleno with squash blossom, summer squash, cashew herb ricotta, cacao mole and toasted seeds; and shrooms consisting of a grilled mushroom skewer, with tamarind glaze and sunflower sprouts. For an added surprise, ask them about their new adaptogenic lattes!

Shoma Bazaar Launches Shoma Bazaar Sundays

Stop by to shop from a variety of local vendors every last Sunday of the month while indulging in a bottomless brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The monthly event will include shopping, wellness classes a live DJ set from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and, of course, brunch consisting of sweet and savory bites from Juice & Java and Tintto by Tributto with your choice of bottomless mimosas, bellinis, bloody marys, bloody marias or Monopolio Clara draft beer for $35. Those not in the mood for brunch can still enjoy dishes from any of Shoma Bazaar’s restaurants.

Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill Reveals New Menu

Sugarcane is kicking off summer by bringing to the menu a selection of iconic dishes from their acclaimed sister restaurant in London, Duck & Waffle. For the first time since before the pandemic, Sugarcane is adding new offerings, including corn ribs made with spicy sticky sauce; BBQ-spiced crispy pig ears; crispy Polenta made with truffle mayonnaise; and puy lentils made with spinach, sweet onion, organic yogurt, miso, and nasturtiums.

Sushi Garage Las Olas Launches Weekend Brunch Service

Sushi Garage’s new brunch runs both Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 am to 3 p.m. and includes a DJ and live entertainment. The menu features a selection of cold, hot, and specialty brunch dishes, as well as 90-minute bottomless add-on options with the purchase of a specialty brunch item. The Brunch menu includes options such as the NY strip katsu sandwich served with furikake tater tots and wasabi aioli; matcha french toast with lychee and mixed berries; the garage omurice (Japanese egg omelet) made with fried rice, mixed vegetables, and tomato salsa; and more. The 90-minute bottomless add-on choices include interchangeable bottomless specialty cocktails for $25, bottomless Aperol Spritzes for $15, bottomless Bloody Marys and Bloody Marias for $18, and a bottle of prosecco served with orange juice and peach nectar on the side for $7.

Sweet Liberty’s Summer Lobster Wednesdays

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. has just re-launched their Summer Lobster Wednesdays, offering Live Maine lobster for $49 with all the fixings. From 7 p.m. until closing, guests can indulge in the seafood options accompanied by roasted corn, cornbread, and coleslaw. Guests can also enjoy half-priced bottles of champagne and beer bucket specials every Wednesday, all summer long–through Labor Day weekend.

Villa Azur Launches “L’été en Or” – The Golden Summer

This summer, Villa Azur is kicking off the season with the debut of L’été en Or, “the golden summer, an elegant French Apéro (the time of day when the French stop what they’re doing to convene for a drink over small plates) experience every Wednesday through Sunday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Villa Azur will offer two options: Fresh & Flirty ($145 or $260) or Le Somptueux ($270 or $385). Both options include sipping on rose while indulging in oysters and/or Petrossian caviar, accompanied by live music and entertainment from DJ Yez and Stephen M.
