Well, well, well… It’s finally June! Sure, Miami will soon be excruciatingly humid, hot, and stormy but the Magic City won’t be without its charms, and—thankfully—most of them include refreshing cocktails. Here are a few events, specials, and promos to keep on your radar:
Miami’s Southeast-Asian-meets-American-style-barbecue spot is celebrating not one but two glorious food holidays. On Friday, June 11 guests can celebrate National Elote Day (yep, apparently a thing) by indulging in EST.33’s twisty take on the popular Mexican street corn dish with their Grilled Sweet Corn which instead of being seasoned with the classic mayo+chili powder+cotija cheese combo is smothered in a tasty Thai citrus herb butter.
One day later, on June 12, National Jerky Day (also a thing) diners can sink their teeth into their delicious Beef Jerky ($12) appetizer, served with sweet and sour pickles. Don’t skimp on the rest of their menu either, and definitely pair your meal with one of their craft beers brewed onsite.
EST.33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen is located at 701 S Miami Ave, Unit 412A Brickell City Centre, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.
Short for “Of Latin America,” OLA Miami at The Gates Hotel south Beach is kicking off the beach months with new signature craft cocktails. Think the essential flavors, art, vibes and décor of Latin America and top it off with some yummy libations, including Tropical Storm, made with grapefruit infused gin, pomegranate, and fresh lemon juice; Lychee Miami, mixed with Lychee Saké, Orange Vodka, Lychee purée, and sugar; the Havana Gimlet, with Silver Rum, lime, midori; and the Passion Kamikaze, vodka, triple sec, lime, sugar and passion, mango.
Not drinking? Take in the waterfront breeze with a Watermelon, Passion or Mango Nojito or a Virgin Kamikaze in hand.

Miami’s favorite French supper club is launching a new weekly dinner soirée as glitzy, glamorous and sexy as the restaurant itself: Peligrosa (meaning “dangerous”). On Wednesday nights from 6:30pm until close, Villa Azur transforms into an extravagant gastronomical party featuring fire girls, beats by DJ Yez, live saxophone music and other eclectic entertainment.
Yes, there will be a delicious dinner, but you’ll likely stay well into the evening for the featured cocktail of the evening, the Spicy Margarita with Casamigos Tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and jalepeño Cointreau with a black salt rim—not to mention all the other fun trouble you can get into.
Villa Azur is located at 309 23rd St, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
