#DishHitList Pride Events, Succulent Steaks, Colorful Brunches, and Cocktails

Well, well, well… It’s finally June! Sure, Miami will soon be excruciatingly humid, hot, and stormy but the Magic City won’t be without its charms, and—thankfully—most of them include refreshing cocktails. Here are a few events, specials, and promos to keep on your radar:

EST. 33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen

Miami’s Southeast-Asian-meets-American-style-barbecue spot is celebrating not one but two glorious food holidays. On Friday, June 11 guests can celebrate National Elote Day (yep, apparently a thing) by indulging in EST.33’s twisty take on the popular Mexican street corn dish with their Grilled Sweet Corn which instead of being seasoned with the classic mayo+chili powder+cotija cheese combo is smothered in a tasty Thai citrus herb butter.

One day later, on June 12, National Jerky Day (also a thing) diners can sink their teeth into their delicious Beef Jerky ($12) appetizer, served with sweet and sour pickles. Don’t skimp on the rest of their menu either, and definitely pair your meal with one of their craft beers brewed onsite.

EST.33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen is located at 701 S Miami Ave, Unit 412A Brickell City Centre, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.

Ola Miami

Short for “Of Latin America,” OLA Miami at The Gates Hotel south Beach is kicking off the beach months with new signature craft cocktails. Think the essential flavors, art, vibes and décor of Latin America and top it off with some yummy libations, including Tropical Storm, made with grapefruit infused gin, pomegranate, and fresh lemon juice; Lychee Miami, mixed with Lychee Saké, Orange Vodka, Lychee purée, and sugar; the Havana Gimlet, with Silver Rum, lime, midori; and the Passion Kamikaze, vodka, triple sec, lime, sugar and passion, mango.

Not drinking? Take in the waterfront breeze with a Watermelon, Passion or Mango Nojito or a Virgin Kamikaze in hand.

Ola Miami is located at 2360 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

RED

Rise and shine, carnivores! June is steakhouse month and there’s nowhere better to celebrate the meaty holiday than at RED South Beach, where you can pair your favorite cuts with endless pours from an extensive wine list sure to captivate. Known for serving up the best quality Certified Angus Beef Prime Steaks, Chef Peter Vauthy of RED will feature an entire month of specials featuring signature wet and dry-aged steak. As for the DYI-ers, follow @Red_SouthBeach on social media for a month full of summer grilling tips, and crave-worthy recipes should you choose to go it alone.

Joining a meat eater at RED but not one yourself? The restaurant also features an abundance of staple seafood dishes, salads galore, pastas and veggie sides.

RED South Beach is located at 801 South Pointe Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Strawberry Moon

Strawberry Moon, the centerpiece of Miami’s newly opened Goodtime Hotel created by David Grutman and Pharrell Williams, has officially kicked off brunch. Tucked above the busy streets of SoBe, guests can start their summer days surrounded by the eatery’s playful pastel colors, noshing on traditional Mediterranean eats and sipping exceptionally delicious specialty cocktails.

Available Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, brunch will feature Moroccan Shakshuka with spicy tomato, poached egg and kalamata olives; Falafel Benedict with tabbouleh, pickled fresno and tahini hollandaise; and Chocolate Babka French Toast dressed in berries, Chantilly cream and warm maple syrup.

Strawberry Moon is located at 601 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

The St. Regis Bal Harbour

Sprinkle a little luxury into your summer with the St. Regis Bar’s new happy hour, beginning Sunday, June 6. Available Sunday through Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, happy hour will feature $10 glasses of house selected wines and cocktails as well as several specials on light bites like shrimp tempura, crispy breaded wings and steamed edamame.

The St. Regis Bal Harbour is located at 9703 Collins Avenue Bal Harbour, Miami Beach, FL 33154. For more information, visit their official website.

The Oasis

Pride Month is officially here (!) and The Oasis, Wynwood sprawling new food hall and concert venue, is celebrating with a performance from artist Charli XCX on Friday, June 18 beginning at 5pm. Dance the night away at The Oasis’ expansive outdoor courtyard with a colorful lineup of top talent including performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race’s iconic Kandy Muse, Miami drag legend Miss Toto.

Guests can also enjoy in bites from New York City staples like Alidoro and Prince Street Pizza, along with familiar flavors from Mr. Mandolin and Buya Dumplings.

Tickets start at $70 and can be purchase at oasismiami.tixr.com.

The Oasis is located at 2335 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website.

Villa Azur

Miami’s favorite French supper club is launching a new weekly dinner soirée as glitzy, glamorous and sexy as the restaurant itself: Peligrosa (meaning “dangerous”). On Wednesday nights from 6:30pm until close, Villa Azur transforms into an extravagant gastronomical party featuring fire girls, beats by DJ Yez, live saxophone music and other eclectic entertainment.

Yes, there will be a delicious dinner, but you’ll likely stay well into the evening for the featured cocktail of the evening, the Spicy Margarita with Casamigos Tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and jalepeño Cointreau with a black salt rim—not to mention all the other fun trouble you can get into.

Villa Azur is located at 309 23rd St, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
