Thanksgiving in Miami 2020: Open Restaurants and Catering Options

Thanksgiving is around the corner. Don’t feel like cooking? You’re in luck: Many local restaurants will be open for service, and some are even offering holiday specials. Leave the cooking to the pros at these Miami eateries:

Ariete

Over in Coconut Grove, Ariete has prepared a comprehensive holiday spread. Designed for families of four or more, the three-course affair features creative selections like turkey and stuffing croquetas, turkey fricassee pastelitos and – of course – just turkey. Sides include green bean casserole, whipped mashed potatoes and cranberry jelly.

Pre-order your dinner package through the official Ariete website. Pricing starts at $340 for a family of four.

La Mar by Gaston Acurio

Celebrate the holiday with a Peruvian-style Thanksgiving feast from Brickell’s La Mar by Gaston Acurio. The special menu is available for dine-in and takeout. Offerings include:

  • Crispy roasted pancetta filled with cranberries, aji panca, chichi de jora (Peruvian corn cider)
  • Arroz Arabe, cumin, shaved toasted almonds, angel hair noodles
  • Caramelized sweet potato puree with orange
  • Brussels sprout salad, green apples, cheese, sunflower seeds and aji Amarillo vinaigrette
  • Peruvian tamal, made with mote corn, quinoa, aji panca, pork jaw served with criolla salad

Takeout orders must be placed by Saturday, November 21. The menu can be ordered for two people ($135) or four ($180). Call 305-913-8358 for more information.

Le Zoo

Give your Thanksgiving dinner a French twist at Le Zoo in Bal Harbour. For $65, you can indulge in a three-course holiday menu with multiple options like butternut squash soup, salt-baked beet salad, roast turkey and pumpkin pie. The prix-fixe menu is available for dine-in only.

Lilikoi Organic Living

Lilikoi Organic Living will be open for dine-in on Thanksgiving. While the health-conscious Miami Beach restaurant won’t be offering any holiday specials, the entire menu will be available – and what a menu it is. Highlights include a hearty chicken and brie sandwich, a vibrant Hawaiian-style poke, and a delicious shrimp coconut curry bowl.

Check out our feature for even more suggestions.

MILA

Rooftop restaurant MILA is open Thanksgiving day, serving up several holiday dishes. The holiday entrée will be a baby chicken with barley miso, shawarma spice and pickled figs, and guests can expect to finish their experience with a pumpkin spice dessert. A special appetizer and cocktail will also be available at the Lincoln Road eatery, along with MILA’s “MeditterrAsian” a la carte menu.

Toro Toro

Downtown Miami’s Toro Toro is hosting a Pan-Latin Fusion feast from noon to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The $59-per-person experience includes a four-course meal with selections like corvina ceviche, grilled octopus, roulade stuffed turkey and a sweet corn crack pie. Diners can order upgrades like a 32-oz. tomahawk steak for an additional fee. Reservations are required; make yours through OpenTable

Villa Azur

If you want to turn Thanksgiving into a party, then head on over to Villa Azur. The French-Mediterranean restaurant on SoBe will be cooking up their usual a la carte menu along with a few chef specials. Diners can expect live entertainment, too: resident DJ Stephan M. and a saxophonist will be performing throughout the evening.

A special takeout menu will also be available. For $65, you can enjoy roasted turkey breast, crispy brussels sprouts, sweet potato mash and roasted haricot vert; dessert is a molasses pecan pie.

Call 305-763-8688 to pre-order your meal. Deadline is Saturday, November 21.
