Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer is teaming up with Venezuela’s iconic salsa brand, FRITZ, to bring you the limited-edition Venezuelan Slam Burger. To celebrate the first-ever U.S. showdown of three top Venezuelan baseball teams at LoanDepot Park, Chef Stephen Parker has created a bold tribute: a prime beef burger topped with crispy potatoes, FRITZ corn salsa, creamy corn queso, queso fresco, scallions, cilantro, and a dash of hot spice. We’re drooling at the thought.
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer redefines the classic burger joint with a cool NYC vibe. Founded by Chris Barish and Julie Mulligan, it’s known for award-winning burgers, jaw-dropping CrazyShake milkshakes, and playful cocktails. We definitely won’t be missing out on this limited-time creation.
Black Tap is located on the 4th floor of Brickell City Centre at 701 S. Miami Ave., Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.
You know we love ourselves a good happy hour, and one of the best in Miami Beach has to be at Kissaki. The omakase Japanese restaurant brings the same level of commitment and freshness to their happy hour specials as well, so if all you want is some appetizers and drinks with the besties in a chic setting — the Kissaki Happy Hour is where you’ll find it. The drinks happy hour runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., while food specials are from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Considering this is one of the later happy hours in Miami Beach, you don’t have to worry about the awkward early bird timing.
We like to get started with a craft cocktail like the Shiozake, made with smoky mezcal, creamy nigori sake, grapefruit, angostura, and aromatic cocktail bitters. Then on to the appetizers, and the following is always in order: the Kissaki salad made with watercress, yuzu-miso dressing, and crispy tempura; their signature spicy tuna roll made with rakkyo and chives; and of course, the freshest salmon and ikura nigiri for only $5 a piece.
If you’re looking for the best spot to be emersed by the thrill of the big fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, Bar Tulio’s should be your go-to this Friday. Not only do they have multiple big-screen TVs across the establishment for the perfect viewing experience, but also one of the best tequila selections in town, friendly vibes, and happy hour specials.
Come through between 5 and 7 p.m. for $7 house margaritas, chips and guacamole, chips and queso, $3 off all spirits, $2 off wines, and $1 off beers. We couldn’t think of a better place to get immersed in the action while munching on some bomb Mexican food and sipping margaritas.
Calling all baklava lovers — and those about to be converted. November 17 is National Baklava Day, a celebration of this syrupy, nutty, and flaky dessert. And where better to honor the occasion than at Miami’s gem of Turkish cuisine, El Turco?
Baklava is a delicate masterpiece of whisper-thin, golden phyllo sheets, baked until crisp and drenched in a velvety, honey-like syrup. El Turco’s take offers two indulgent versions: one packed with vibrant, earthy pistachios and the other brimming with rich, buttery walnuts. Each bite is a harmony of crunch, sweetness, and layers that transport you straight to a Turkish bazaar. Pair this divine treat with a frothy cup of Turkish coffee for the ultimate Turkish experience without leaving the 305.
