Enter through the fiery-red tori gates towards a spirited experience of Nikkei cuisine in the heart of Miami. With two outposts—one in the bustling Brickell neighborhood and a newly opened one on the iconic Espanola way in South Beach—get ready for a divine treat for the palate and soul consisting of Japanese traditionality and Peruvian seasonality.  Gather a group of besties and prepare to share an array of hand-crafted plates carrying bite-sized delectables that’ll fly out to your table one after another. Specialties include crispy rice with a generous dollop of tuna in a crema acevichada and masago. Then there’s the paper tuna, an utmost luscious portion of tuna tartar paired with more torched tuna, avocado, nikkei sauce, chives, and wrapped in rice paper. Feeling for something a tad more substantial? There’s a 48-hr marinated black cod with a house-made miso sauce that you simply won’t want to overlook. Trust us. Paperfish has omakase and happy hour and is open for lunch and dinner with stellar cocktails to the likes of the wasabi martini. In short, it’s totally the cat’s meow.
