Whether you’re getting your morning cup of joe in preparation for an active beach day ahead, catching up with some friends, or simply need a place to work—Miami Beach has got some exceptionally aromatic, smooth, and well-balanced coffee to make sure you start your day off right.
Bettant Bakery
Sometimes a cup of joe is as good as the sweet accompaniment that goes alongside it. Sure, you can get good coffee. But how often do coffee shops carry amazing pastries? In the case of Bettant, you can get the best of both worlds—coffee, and pastries. Originating in France, the owners of Bettant Bakery have been honing the croissant tradition since 1935.
The coffee is perfectly strong and pairs mighty well with the soft, sweet, buttery, flaky pastry. And there’s more than just croissants that are coming out the oven.
For a filling breakfast stop by for a breakfast egg croissant sandwich. Or as a sweet treat, there are danishes (guava and cheese stole our hearts), and there are quiches and baguette sandwiches if you’re stopping by for a little lunchtime pick-me-up coffee. Considering the otherwise limited options on Washington Ave., Bettant is a lifesaver.
Bettant Bakery & Cafe is located at 1043 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
Buenos Aires Bakery & Cafe
Pop into Little Buenos Aires and you’ll find Buenos Aires Bakery—your stop for a perfect Argentinian cup of joe. Here, the steaming hot cups of coffee come out side by side with handmade empanadas and boy are they lovely.
The cafe has been owned and operated by the same family since 1972 and it shows. It takes quality and dedication to survive for this long in Miami Beach and Buenos Aires is hands down a city fave.
On the menu, you’ll find much more than coffee and empanadas, however. The bakery & cafe has a full menu of sandwiches de miga (crustless finger sandwiches), hearty milanesa Napolitana (with tomato sauce and melted mozz), and Argentinian-style pizza.
However if you’re stopping by for the coffee we recommend sticking with a cafe con leche, some empanadas, or facturas—a match made in heaven.
Buenos Aires Bakery & Cafe is located at 230 71st St, Miami Beach, FL 33141. For more information, visit their official website.
Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar
Crema is a city favorite when it comes to a good cup of coffee. Their dedication to the bean is seen throughout. They have multiple locations in South Florida, including Miami Beach.
The espresso bar serves up all the espresso-based beverages your heart desires and executes them to perfection. There’s also an all-day breakfast menu (with the breakfast sandwich being a particular banger), pancakes, and a divine smoked salmon omelet.
The cafe offers plenty of space for working both indoors and outdoors, making it a great choice for cafe grind sessions or work meetings.

Joe & the Juice
Joe & The Juice, with its unmistakable bright pink logo, is one of those Miami Beach constants that quietly earns its place in your routine. It’s fast-paced but polished, buzzing without being chaotic, and always dependable. The coffee menu is broader than people give it credit for—solid espresso drinks, iced coffees, and lattes that balance richness without weighing you down.
Beyond coffee, the lineup stretches into creamy matcha and an extensive menu of vibrant juices and smoothies. If you do find yourself peckish, there’s also a plethora of sandwiches, bowls, and baked goodies with plenty of vegan options that do not disappoint. Everything feels intentional and unfussy. The vibe is distinctly Miami Beach: music humming, sunglasses on, laptops out, blenders going, life in motion. It’s not trying to be a cozy hideaway, but a functional, polished pit stop that fuels your day and sends you back out better caffeinated, better hydrated, and very much still in motion.
Joe & the Juice has several locations. For more information, visit their official website.
Maman
Maman feels like that rare Miami Beach coffee stop where you can actually slow down. Tucked into the South of Fifth area, it brings a breezy slice of French countryside charm to the neighborhood—soft florals, vintage touches, and that instantly recognizable blue-and-white tableware that somehow makes your coffee taste better.
If it’s your first time visiting Maman, go straight for the cafe’s most iconic beverages. The honey-lavender latte is a standout—lightly floral, subtly sweet, and perfectly balanced, not perfumey or overpowering. Then there’s the salted tahini honeycomb latte topped with salty sesame crumbs. Guaranteed addiction. Classic espresso drinks are consistently smooth and well-pulled, making this a reliable go-to whether you’re staying with a good read or grabbing something on the way to the beach. Pair your cup with a warm pastry from the ever-changing baked selection, or lean into something more filling like their beloved breakfast sandwich on brioche. Maman is equal parts chic cafe and calming reset—a place to sip, sit, and soak up a softer, slower side of Miami Beach.
Maman is located at 100 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
Prima Classe
Tucked into South of Fifth, Prima Classe channels the effortless rhythm of an Italian neighborhood cafe—no frills, no fluff, just excellent coffee and even better energy. Locals pop in for a quick espresso at the bar, linger over cappuccinos on the patio, or treat it like a daily ritual rather than a special occasion.
Coffee here is taken seriously. Expect bold, well-balanced espresso, properly foamed cappuccinos, and that unmistakable Italian cafe cadence that encourages a slow sip. Pair your coffee with a flaky croissant or something pistachio-filled if you’re feeling indulgent. Everything tastes intentionally simple, in the best way. What sets Prima Classe apart is its soul. Part cafe, part Italian market, it’s stocked with imported cheeses, cured meats, and pantry staples that make the space feel lived-in and loved. It’s cozy, community-driven, and effortlessly charming—living proof that great coffee doesn’t need to be IG-worthy to be unforgettable.
