The 6 Best Miami Lunch Spots with Outdoor Seating

Are you tired of eating lunch at your desk or in the same old cafeteria every day? Why not take a break and enjoy the beautiful weather by having lunch outside? There are plenty of options to satisfy your cravings and soak up some sunshine – here are some of our faves.

Barsecco

Barsecco isn’t open for prime lunch hours, but if you usually eat a late lunch, this is the spot for you. The Brickell eatery is home to a wide range of globally inspired fare, including tacos, burgers, pastas, and more; we’d be very surprised if you don’t find something to your liking on this expansive menu. Complementing the bevy of food options is a just-as-diverse lineup of beverages like tropical cocktails and classic libations and then some. Did we mention that this place is home to one of the best happy hours in the neighborhood?

CJ’s Crab Shack

Looking for a lunch spot with unbeatable ocean views in Miami Beach? Look no further than CJ’s Crab Shack! Located right by the sand, this seafood joint has everything you need for a perfect meal in paradise. From their famous crab cakes and oysters to delicious snow crab and fried shrimp, CJ’s menu is packed with mouthwatering options that are sure to satisfy any seafood craving.

The full bar selection is equally impressive, with drinks like Gwen’s Summertime Sangria and mango daiquiris. But what really sets this spot apart is their outdoor seating area, which offers stunning views of the sand and plenty of sunshine.

El Turco

This tucked-away spot serves up authentic Turkish cuisine in a charming outdoor setting. Escape the bustle of the city at El Turco and enjoy vibrant meze platters and satisfying main dishes like manti, lamb casserole, and Doner sandwiches. It’s a delightful oasis for a unique and relaxing lunch. Because this is a Michelin-recognized restaurant, reservations are strongly recommended.

Ironside Pizza

Ironside Pizza brings a fresh take on Italian pizzas to the heart of Miami Ironside. Their pies feature the finest seasonal ingredients, resulting in a symphony of flavors that hit just right. Savor all this deliciousness on their outdoor patio – a perfect spot for a sun-soaked lunch with family, friends, or solo. Besides pizza, the restaurant offers panini, salads, and a few other delights. But make no mistake: Pizza is the main attraction. Leave the diet for next week.

The Lobster Shack

South Pointe eatery The Lobster Shack is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some of the best food and drinks on this side of town. From their signature lobster rolls to classic fish tacos, The Lobster Shack’s menu has something for everyone. Start with the original chilled lobster roll and work your way through more creative fare like the Cajun Lobster Roll or the South Beach Lobster Roll with bacon and avocado.

And when it comes to drinks, their cocktail list is not to be missed. Sip on a refreshing mojito or try one of their specialty cocktails, like the guava jalapeno margarita. With plenty of outdoor seating available, you can enjoy your meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery of Miami Beach.

Paperfish Sushi

Over on Española Way, Paperfish Sushi is serving up delicious Nikkei fare with a view. The neighborhood favorite draws big crowds thanks to its spectacular lunch deals and affordable prices unheard of in South Beach. The weekday Bento Boxes come loaded with rolls, salads, gyoza, and other delights that will tide you over until dinner and beyond; the crispy rock shrimp is also worth a look for something filling and budget-friendly. Come check them out for lunch and sit outside to enjoy the perfect people-watching view.
