The Best Places to Eat When You Can’t Make Up Your Mind

Dining out can be tough when you’re not sure of what you want. Are you in the mood for pasta? Should you opt for sushi? Maybe you want Cuban food—or maybe not?

We’ve rounded up some great Miami restaurants with huge menus, so you can have a little bit of this and that. Because why settle for one thing when you can have it all?

Buya

Asian-inspired cuisine is the name of the game at Buya, a Wynwood favorite. The Japanese restaurant’s menu is huge and features everything from ramen and bao buns to sashimi and fried chicken. If you’re dining solo, pick about three dishes to fill you up—preferably from different sections. Crowd pleasers include the crispy Hamachi kama, the duck gyoza hot pot, and the pork belly buns. Or go all out and get the $45 tasting menu—a tremendous value.

Buya is located at 250 NW 24th Street, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website

Byblos

Byblos on Miami Beach is all about the best of the Mediterranean. The menu is vast, and diners are encouraged to choose a little bit from each section. Start with the Turkish manti dumplings and lamb ribs, and then work your way to the black truffle pide and Middle Eastern fried chicken. Complement all of that with some rock shrimp rice or Persian kale. There’s no shortage of options here, and everything is worth a look (and bite).

Byblos is located at 1545 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Finka Table + Tap

At Finka Table + Tap in West Kendall, you’ll find a menu that pulls influences from all over. There’s really only one word to describe the food here: awesome. That said, Cuban and Asian influences are the most abundant with items like croquetas, arroz con pollo fritters, vaca frita tostones, Korean “Japchae” noodles, and brisket wonton ravioli. Other highlights include braised oxtail pizza, harissa roasted half chicken, and fried alligator jalea. Repeat visits are warranted.

Finka Table + Tap is located at 14690 SW 26th Street, Miami, FL 33175. For more information, visit their official website

Little Brazil

At first glance, you’d probably think that Miami Beach’s Little Brazil is all about steak. While steak is one of the stars here—the picanha is to die for—there are plenty of other delicious offerings available. Spaghetti, chicken parm, sauteed shrimp, vegetarian stroganoff… The list goes on. Pop in and order a few dishes to see what all the hype is all about; just get ready for a nap afterward.

Little Brazil is located at 6984 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33141. For more information, visit their official website

RED South Beach

RED South Beach is another spot where there’s more than meets the eye. You can’t discuss great steaks in Miami without bringing up Red; the place is iconic. But chef Peter Vauthy is a man of many talents, and steak is just one of them. The menu also features a stellar raw bar selection—the lobster cocktail is a must—along with pastas, salads, seafood, and sides. Again, order a little bit of everything for the best experience possible. We’re partial to the carbonara, wild king salmon, and creamed corn.

RED South Beach is located at 801 South Pointe Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

The Doral Yard

The Doral Yard is a community hangout that’s home to food vendors galore. So, if you can’t make up your mind, consider this a one-stop-shop. Among the vendors are Un Pollo (Venezuelan), Yip (Asian), and Della Bowls (Vegan), all of which are worth visiting. In need of something sweet? Santo Dulce and its delicious churros or Paletas Morelia and its gourmet pops have your back. More vendors are coming soon, so expect even more tasty treats in the future.

The Doral Yard is located at 8455 NW 53rd Street, Suite 106, Doral, FL 33166. For more information, visit their official website

Wabi Sabi

When Wabi Sabi first opened, it only had a handful of bowls and sushi specials available for order. The menu at this Shorecrest gem has come a long way and now boasts an impressive selection of nigiri, sashimi, maki, and omakase (plus the bowls). If you’re in the mood for anything remotely related to what we just mentioned, you need to stop by. Words can’t do this place justice—just go ahead and make that reservation. Trust us.

Wabi Sabi is located at 851 NE 79th Street, Miami, FL 33138. For more information, visit their official website
