The 8 Best Miami Spots for Baby Showers

Bulla

With multiple locations across the county, you’re never too far away from a Bulla Gastrobar. The menu at this Spanish eatery is built on sharing, so it’s perfect for large celebrations like a baby shower. Highlights on the menu include the fish fritters, bistro steak, crispy potato cubes, and braised oxtail. Private dining is also available if you’d prefer a more exclusive ambiance.

Bulla has locations throughout Miami. For more information, visit their official website.

The Lobster Shack

For a more casual baby shower, head on over to Miami Beach’s Lobster Shack. We know what you’re thinking: Mom shouldn’t have any shellfish.

And while that’s true, there’s much more to Lobster Shack than meets the eye. Tacos and other cooked items are plentiful and cheap, and the drink selection is impressive (for those who can drink). The enormous outdoor seating area makes it ideal for baby showers and just about any celebration.

Mamey

Caribbean cuisine abounds at Mamey in Coral Gables. The island flavors here will whisk you away to a tropical paradise.

The menu is big but rest assured that there are no wrong choices here. That said, there are some musts: the coconut shrimp, the white truffle and brie grilled cheese, and the mojo roasted chicken are always winners. If it’s a nice day, consider moving to the rooftop bar for a more scenic experience.

Mamey is located at 1350 South Dixie Highway, Coral Gables, FL 33146. For more information, visit their official website.

RED South Beach

A steakhouse is always a solid option for special occasions, and that includes baby showers. Why settle for anything less than the best? RED South Beach boasts an impressive selection of steak selections and then some; you can find everything from seafood and salads to pastas and chops – there’s way more to the place than meets the eye.

Beyond the spectacular food, RED offers up a cool vibe – you just feel like a million bucks walking in. And if it’s your baby shower, that’s exactly how you should be feeling.

Rusty Pelican

If you’re seeking a baby shower with a view, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better one than Rusty Pelican. The Key Biscayne institution is known for its waterfront location, making it ideal for outdoor baby showers.

The menu here is also diverse: You’ll find everything from short rib empanadas and ceviche to surf and turf, roasted chicken, and loaded twice-baked potatoes. There’s something for everyone at Rusty Pelican.

Rusty Pelican is located at 3201 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne, FL 33149. For more information, visit the official website.

Shā Wynwood

Fusion food can be hit or miss, but Shā Wynwood definitely falls into that first category. The Mediterranean-Asian eatery offers a great variety of dishes that should cater to most of your party’s palates. Items on their diverse menu include torched tuna carpaccio, duck dumplings, 4-cheese pizza, carbonara, curry chicken and branzino. You’ll instantly fall in love with the beautiful garden terrace – trust us.

Shā Wynwood is located at 97 NW 25th Street, Wynwood, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website.

Tanuki River Landing

For a baby shower with a view on the mainland, check out Tanuki River Landing. This front row seat to the Miami River is a sight to behold – and it’s the perfect backdrop for a baby shower.

The food at Tanuki River Landing is delicious, too: Expect everything from nigiri and sashimi to wok specialties, sushi rolls and the signature Peking duck. Another big selling point is the parking – there’s so much of it; your guests won’t have any issues finding a spot (and for cheap).

Toscana Divino

Spare no expense at Brickell’s Toscana Divino, the area’s go-to spot for Italian cuisine. The popular eatery boasts a hearty selection of pastas and specialties that are sure to impress everyone at the party.

Highlights include the pici senesi with braised duck leg ragu, the mushroom risotto, and the ricotta and spinach tortelli. The big draw here for drinkers is the extensive wine list – dozens of bottles are available. Trust us when we say you won’t want to leave.
