The Best Pizza in Miami Beach

In the pizza haven of Miami Beach, slices abound like sunshine. Allow us to guide you through the perfect pies, from cozy corner pizza parlors to loud and bustling pizzerias crawling with the world’s most well-known celebs.

Whether you’re in the mood for a classic margherita or something unprecedented, read on to find your ultimate slice.

Blozzom Pizza

Blozzom Pizza stands out from the usual crowd of pizza joints. They serve traditional Roman-style pies scissor-cut by the slice, with over 20 daily pie varieties to choose from.

All slices are priced by weight, which means this is a great place for you to load up on slices and try all of the pizzeria’s bestsellers. We always go for the irresistible mortadella slice—loaded with classic Italian mortadella with creamy truffle ricotta cheese and pistachios; or the bestselling capocollo slice topped with creamy stracciatella.

Blozzom Pizza also comes through with other delectable options like the incredible spaghetti bolognese, creamy pasta carbonara, a wide variety of loaded salads, and the best tiramisu you’ll ever have for dessert.

By the by, there are also plenty of gluten-free and vegan options for any dietary preference. Seriously, this place will make you want to ditch your local pizza joint and become a regular.

Blozzom Pizza is located at 7341 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33141. For more information, visit their official website.

Harry’s Pizzeria

Since Harry’s opened in Miami in 2011, it has swept the city pizza scene by storm, quickly earning its place as the most loved pizzeria in town.

Something about the casual yet tasteful atmosphere, wood-fired pies, and toppings that will blow your socks off just bode well with us slice specialists. Helmed by James Beard Award-winning Executive Chef Michael Schwartz, it’s no wonder the pies here are slamming. And the newly opened Miami Beach branch is certainly no exception.

Upon your first visit, make sure to order the pizzeria faves: slow-roasted short rib pizza with caramelized onions; spicy pepperoni pizza; and finger-licking good appetizers like the crispy crunchy mozzarella sticks (hands down the best in town), or the super saucy meatballs.

Harry’s Pizzeria always has quirky monthly pizza specials and weekly promotions up its sleeve, so make sure to check their website for the latest offerings.

Harry’s Pizzeria is located at 1680 Meridian Ave #102, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

La Leggenda Pizzeria

How could we put out this list without including La Leggenda Pizzeria—a true Miami Beach legend? The magnum opus of World Pizza Champion Giovanni Gagliardi is ranked 11th best pizzeria in the USA, 36th in the world, and best gluten-free pizza in America.

Walking into the Espanola Way location, you can bet you’re in for true culinary masterpieces. Naturally, the traditional Neapolitan-style pizzeria is frequented by many a celebrity, both Italian and international.

Gagliardi urges first-timers to start off with the classic, the unbeatable margherita STG—showcasing the simplicity of San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella di bufala campana DOP, and fresh basil. One that Chef calls “the Italian flag of the world.”

Another must is the Pizza World Championship Winner, the Parmigiana, made with San Marzano tomato sauce, fiordilatte cheese, eggplant parmigiana, 24-month-old Parmigiano Reggiano, and more fresh basil. Well enough from us; the only way to truly understand is to try the pie for yourself.

La Leggenda Pizzeria is located at 224 Española Way, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Lucali

Lucali pizza is known worldwide thanks to it being frequented by Jay Z, Beyonce, David Chang, and Dave Portnoy. The pizza truly does live up to the hype, though, and one bite is all it takes to become hooked and proclaim it the best pizza in the world.

Luckily, the only other Lucali branch in the world is located right here in Miami Beach, and it indubitably does the Brooklyn OG justice.

Lucali doesn’t take reservations, so you might need to queue up for this one, but boy, is it worth it. The menu is straight to the point—choose from a base of plain pie, white pie, or calzone, and add on your favorite toppings.

Personally, we like to keep it simple with a plain pie topped with fresh arugula and beef pepperon, allowing the flavors to truly shine. One last tip—whatever you do, please, oh please, don’t leave without trying the outrageous (in all the best ways) meatballs.

Lucali is located at 1930 Bay Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Mister O1 Pizza

Since its inception in 2014, Mister O1 Pizza has been showing the world that Miami Beach does know a thing or two about exceptional pizza pies. Humbly starting off in Miami Beach, less than a decade later, the pizza franchise has over a dozen locations throughout the US, and the OG pizza can also be enjoyed internationally in Spain and Saudi Arabia. Heck, they’ve even got their own pizza school to boot.

If it’s your first time here, make sure to order the pie that has taken the world by storm—the Star Luca. The iconic star-shaped pie comes filled with ricotta cheese, mozzarella, tomato sauce, spicy salami calabrese, and fresh basil. The pizza parlor is also known for its burrata bar serving up creamy cheese specialties like the burrata with arugula and white truffle oil.

The space does tend to get busy, and reservations are not accepted, so we highly recommend not arriving while you’re starving. Oh, and you’ll certainly be writing home about this one, ladies and gents.

Mister 01 is located at 1680 Michigan Ave STE 101, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
