The Best Restaurants for Business Meetings in Miami

Business deals are often closed outside of the office – particularly at restaurants. Use our list to pick the best restaurant for your next business meeting in Miami.

Avo Miami

Who says a business meal has to be fancy? If you just want to treat your guest to some great food without expensing too much, there’s Avo Miami at Sunset Harbour. The healthy dining destination leans heavy on Mediterranean influences; dinner highlights include the sesame salmon, grilled branzino, and za’atar Greek salad. The quality of food here is exceptional, and you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck; portions are sizeable for the price. Make sure to grab one of their juices for the road.

Avo Miami is located at 1834 Bay Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Costa Med

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Miami at Key Biscayne’s Costa Med, an intimate eatery that is sure to impress. The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is great because it tends to be on the quieter side, and its menu is extensive; there’s something for everyone at this restaurant, from salads and crudos to pastas, meats, and seafood. The delicious wine list helps bring the experience full circle.

Costa Med is located at 260 Crandon Boulevard, #46, Key Biscayne, FL 33149. For more information, visit their official website.

Hiyakawa

If budget is not a problem, treat your guest to a tasty meal at Wynwood’s Hiyakawa. The neighborhood sushi spot is elegant and excellent, boasting super-fresh fish and an assortment of Asian specialties. You can order a la carte, but this is one of those places where it’s best to let the chef decide. Don’t forget to order some sake to complement your meal before talking shop.

Hiyakawa is located at 2700 North Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website

Jia

South of Fifth’s Jia exudes cool. The Chinese restaurant’s fantastic style is complemented by a ton of substance when it comes to the food menu. Sharing is encouraged here, and we do suggest 2-3 dishes per person if you’re not getting mains. Highlights include the fish bao buns, Crystal buddha mushroom dumplings, and roasted Mongolian cumin lamb rack. If you really want to show your guests a good time, the tableside espresso martini service or disco ball drink are both quite the experience.

Jia is located at 808 1st Street, #3, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Riviera Focacceria

Ready to blow your guest’s mind? After one bite of Riviera Focacceria’s namesake focaccia con formaggi, everyone’s going to be in a good mood. The Midtown Miami favorite is known for its eponymous dish as well as its delectable pasta dishes; the lasagna and gnocchi are always a good time. And of course, there’s plenty of wine to go around.

Riviera Focacceria is located at 3252 Buena Vista Boulevard, #110, Miami, FL 33137. For more information, visit their official website.

Seawell Fish N’ Oyster

Avoid the South Beach crowds with a reservation at Seawell Fish N’ Oyster. The restaurant, hidden inside the Kimpton Angler’s Hotel, is the perfect place for a chill dinner on the beach. As you can talk business, you and your guests can enjoy seafood charcuterie, pork belly and oysters, Caribbean fish bake and so much more. The eatery does a great job of offering both casual and upscale cuisine.

Seawell Fish N’ Oyster is located at 660 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

The Wagyu Bar

Skip the stuffy Miami steakhouses, and make your way over to The Wagyu Bar. The Coral Way casual steakhouse is laidback about everything except its steaks. Here, you can find everything from tried-and-true cuts like filet mignon and ribeye to less familiar fare like Denver steaks and picanha. Expect to get a side of education while you’re here as The Wagyu Bar is big on letting customers know about the ins and outs of beef grading. Like we said, they take steak seriously.

The Wagyu Bar is located at 2257 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33145. For more information, visit their official website.
