Ahh, Brickell.
Home to an extensive variety of drool-worthy restaurants, homey cafés, and entertaining bars, this is a spot no one can seem to get enough of. And with solid reason. Yes, you may find yourself staring at the same license plate for who knows how long on your way to your favorite local haunt, but when it comes to getting to indulge in some of Miami’s most iconic dishes and cocktails, the inconvenience of Brickell traffic is small potatoes. Plus, given that we’re rewarded with supremely tasty food, we’re prone to forgive just about anything.
Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood, authentic Italian cuisine, or Peruvian-inspired flavors, you’re sure to find something to love in this vibrant Miami neighborhood.
Barsecco is a fly restaurant and lounge where daylight transitions seamlessly into a seductive haven as twilight descends. The Brickell restaurant offers a quintessential backdrop for all kinds of social affairs, whether it be dinner with the besties or intimate rendezvous, Barsecco reigns supreme. Peruse the diverse menu, a fusion of global inspirations begging to be shared. Firstimers, surrender to the decadence of Grana Padano truffle fries and crispy Sicilian arancini to start. Then indulge in sumptuous mains like the wagyu burger served with maple bacon and truffle aioli or the pan-seared sweet miso seabass. Lush. Our favorite part of an evening out in Barsecco is getting a cocktail carafe to share, like the utterly refreshing sparkling passion sensation, made with passionfruit, mint, and Prosecco. Yet, Barsecco’s allure extends beyond its culinary delights and inviting ambiance. It’s all about the events and feel of community the restaurant orchestrates. Immerse yourself in daily happy hour specials, a kitchen bustling until 2 a.m., hookah service, Taco Tuesdays, Ladies Night Wednesdays, and bottomless boozy brunches.
Brickell is seemingly no short of delectable munchies at any time of the day. Yet, its newest addition, Cafe Americano is already establishing itself as the prime spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and fancy cocktails. The Latin-inspired diner has dishes to pique anyone’s interest from loved far and wide American classics, to pizza, pasta, and picante mains – all served in a subdued tropical diner ambiance with a retro flair. Some mouthwatering options include the mojo chicken avocado salad (pulled chicken marinated to perfection and served alongside a melange of the utmost bursting flavors and textures); the brunch burger (maple bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar, black pepper maple aioli, and a fried egg — oh my!); or for our vegetarian compadres there’s the molten cauliflower parmesan, drenched in marinara and molten mozzarella and served table-side with linguine marinara. Sheesh. You’ll surely need some smooth sips here and the mixologist has got you covered with a grand array of tropical cocktails, mocktails, and funky drafts.
The best restaurants in Brickell are not just good; they are extraordinary, and Toscana Divino is the very epitome of extraordinary. Eating there is like going to a concert for your tastebuds. You know you’re about to experience something extraordinary, and you can’t wait for the show to begin. If you’re looking for a taste of Tuscany in the heart of Miami, this is the place to go. The upscale Italian mainstay serves up traditional dishes with a modern twist, using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, with a serious focus on sustainability. From homemade pasta and risotto to succulent meats and seafood, everything on the menu is crafted and sourced with meticulous attention to detail, and choosing what exactly you’ll stick your fork in will surely be the hardest decision you have to make here.
The menu offers authentic Italian dishes such as Octopus Puttanesca, Vitello Tonnato, and Battuta di Carne. Other local favorites include spaghetti, Risotto ai Funghi, Lamb Chops, and various steak options, with ingredients like capers, olives, arugula, truffle, and potatoes. On the sweet side, Tiramisu and Panna Cotta are highly recommended.
Peruvian cuisine lovers, prepare to be brought to tears. Of joy. La Mar is famous for its ceviche, tiradito, and other seafood specialties, but the menu doesn’t stop there. They serve a variety of Peruvian favorites like lomo saltado, aji de gallina, and chaufa. Aside from the incredible food, you’ll be able to bask in some pretty stunning waterfront views (best enjoyed with a pisco sour in hand)—if you can snag a table outside.
