La Natural: A Slice of Heaven in Little River

Nestled in Miami’s Little River neighborhood, La Natural is a culinary escape. This charming restaurant, helmed by celebrated Miami restaurateur Javier Ramirez, offers a simple yet refined experience: exquisite sourdough pizzas, a carefully chosen selection of natural wines, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Rosemary Sourdough Bread

As you’ve no doubt guessed, the main menu item at La Natural is pizza. The many selections are irresistible with their fresh, seasonal toppings that showcase both classic and creative flavor combinations. Savor the simple perfection of the margherita or embark on a flavor adventure with the white sauce, scallions, and Szechuan peppercorn pie.

Tomato Sauce, Burrata, Basil Pizza

Other enticing choices include the prosciutto speck option with its salty, savory notes and the burrata and basil::chef’s kiss::. There are no wrong choices here, although we recommend getting both a white pizza and one with tomato sauce so you can try the best of both worlds.

Butter Lettuce, Zhug, Meyer Lemon

While pizza takes center stage, La Natural offers a selection of thoughtfully crafted small plates to complement your meal. Start with something light like the butter lettuce, or treat your taste buds to their signature Japanese sweet potato with brown butter and buckwheat (a highlight). The papaya with Calabrian chili is another favorite, but honestly, everything sounds so good.

Orange Wine

The wine list at La Natural is an ode to natural wines. Carefully curated to highlight small producers, the selection offers unique and exciting discoveries for both the novice and the connoisseur. Each wine is chosen to enhance the flavors of dishes, big and small, creating a harmonious pairing experience. While you can order by the glass, the better value is the bottle; one glass was all it took to sell us on a bottle of orange wine. And, of course, save room for dessert: The passionfruit panna cotta is a nice, light way to end your meal after all those delicious carbs.

Passionfruit Panna Cotta

As for the space itself, La Natural’s ambiance is as inviting as its food. The space is designed with a rustic-chic aesthetic, featuring warm tones and a cozy atmosphere that encourages lingering and conversation; it doesn’t feel like you’re in Miami anymore. Whether you’re seeking a casual weeknight dinner or a place to celebrate a special occasion, La Natural provides the perfect setting.

Ready to escape the ordinary and savor the extraordinary? Gather your friends, bring your appetite, and discover the delightful flavors of La Natural. Your taste buds will thank you.
