Where to Go in Miami to See and Be Seen

Miami’s best restaurants are waiting for you to visit. If you want to be seen, you need to make a reservation at one of these hotspots.

Hiyakawa

An omakase experience like no other awaits you at Hiyakawa, one of Wynwood’s top spots for all things sushi. The luxurious restaurant impresses on all fronts: décor, service, flavor, and value. Pop in for one of the eatery’s signature tastings and prepare to be blown away by the quality. A la carte options are also available if you’re short on time, but this is a restaurant best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Hiyakawa is located at 2700 North Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website

Jia

Over the bridge in South of Fifth, you’ll encounter Jia – a Miami Beach must when it comes to Chinese cuisine. The beautiful restaurant is a feast for all the senses: The place is stunning, as are the offerings. Dumplings, noodles, buns … you name it and they’ve got it. “Cool” is exactly how you’ll feel the second you set foot inside. Fun fact: You can order takeout through their website if that’s more your style.

Jia is located at 808 1st Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

The Key Club

Coconut Grove is going through a big transformation right now, and The Key Club is at the forefront. Older buildings and businesses are giving way to more modern constructions and vendors, bringing a ton of new foot traffic for the ride. This modern American bar and grill sits on the first floor of the Cocowalk shopping mall, featuring steaks, sushi, oysters, and other delicious selections. Reservations are strongly recommended, but you can usually find a seat or two at the bar if you’re early enough.

The Key Club is located at 3015 Grand Avenue, Coconut Grove, FL 33133. For more information, visit their official website

RED South Beach

Everything that RED South Beach does can be described in one word: big. Offering everything from larger-than-life portions to big, bold flavors, Red never disappoints. The iconic Miami Beach steakhouse is known for its meat, but there’s so much more here than meets the eye: raw bar selections, salads, pastas, chops… Everybody can find something to fit their palate. If you’re drinking, check out the lengthy wine list – we weren’t kidding when we said they do everything big.

RED South Beach is located at 801 South Pointe Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Sexy Fish

Sexy Fish in Brickell is in a category of its own: This lavish eatery doubles down surrealist décor; it’s as if you’ve stepped into some trippy painting. As you’ve probably guessed from the name, Sexy Fish’s menu leans heavily on seafood. Menu highlights include the salt and pepper squid, the bloody Mary ceviche, tuna tataki, and sexy salmon poke. This place is not cheap, but if you want to be seen, this is one of Miami’s hottest restaurants right now.

Sexy Fish is located at 1001 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33130. For more information, visit their official website
