The Best New Restaurants in Miami [December 2025]

Angelina Kurganska

From Miami River’s chic waterfronts to Wynwood’s colorful streets, new spots are flipping the script on dining and sipping in the 305. Picture riverside French flair, intimate cocktail dens, and pizza so good it should be illegal. By the time you reach the end, your reservations list will already be full.

Bagatelle Miami River

Miami’s newest waterfront hotspot is here: Bagatelle Miami River. If the South of France collided with Miami’s skyline and somehow threw a luxe party, this is what it would look like. The riverside hangout fuses the signature elegance of Bagatelle’s “House” concepts with the sun-soaked, playful vibes of their beach clubs—think St. Tropez energy but with a Miami twist.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows, lush greenery, and cabanas begging for a daytime aperitif. Pull up by boat and strut straight onto their 192-foot dock like the VIP you are, or roll up on land via valet. Indoors, the 25-seat bar sets the tone for cocktails that balance French sophistication with Miami sass. By night, the space transforms into a champagne-fueled party playground with curated DJ sets.

In the kitchen, Executive Chef Marco Estrada Gallardo and Corporate Chef Rocco Seminara bring the French Riviera to the riverfront with masterpieces like truffle-stuffed potatoes with caviar, basil-infused lobster fettuccine, and grilled lamb chops with black garlic puree. And yes, dessert is legendary thanks to Pastry Chef Manon Santini, who serves up Tropézienne and lace crepes that we can only classify as edible art. Bagatelle Miami River effortlessly blends high design, bold flavors, and riverside glamour into one unforgettable escape.

Bagatelle is located at 311 NW S River Dr, Miami, FL 33128. For more information, visit their official website.

The Coffee

Miami, meet your newest caffeine crush. The Coffee, Brazil’s Japanese-inspired specialty coffee brand, has just made its U.S. debut in Wynwood… because, where else? Think sleek minimalist vibes, tech-forward service, and incredibly good cups of joe.

Founded by the Fertonani brothers in Curitiba, The Coffee has taken over the globe—25 countries and counting—and now it’s bringing the 305 a lineup of drinks that will have you hooked. Pure Black espresso for the purists, True White Latte for the smooth drinkers, and Instagram-ready creations like the floral Sora Latte or the sparkling Black Ginger.  Iced drinks, honey-lemon coffee, or indulgent, chocolaty Mad Mocha—it’s all here. The café also serves pastries that are just as extra: ricotta, honey, and almond-filled croissants, muffins, and banana bread, perfect for carb-loading before you tackle Wynwood’s murals.

The Coffee is located at 136 NW 27th St, Miami, FL 33127. For more information, visit their official website.

Drinking Pig BBQ

Coconut Grove, get your wet wipes ready: Drinking Pig BBQ finally has a permanent home, and Miami is about to start smelling real smoky. After five years of pop-ups, parking-lot pilgrimages, and people lining up like they were trying to buy concert tickets, Chef Raheem Sealey has officially planted roots—and yes, the picnic tables made the cut.

What started in a North Miami front yard during the pandemic (literal cooler-of-beer vibes) has become one of Miami’s most whispered-about food obsessions. Sealey, formerly of KYU and forever of the Caribbean, brings that Austin-meets-island magic: utterly tender brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, housemade sausage, and sides that do not play—mac & cheese, collards, beans, and their dangerously buttery cornbread. Drinking Pig BBQ is now open in Coconut Grove. Bring napkins. And maybe a friend who won’t judge you.

Drinking Pig BBQ is located at 3444 Main Hwy., Suite 16, Miami, FL 33133. For more information, visit their official website.

Le Specialità

Le Specialità, the trattoria that’s been winning hearts in Milan since 1977, has officially touched down in the Miami Design District—its first-ever international outpost. Brought stateside by Spicy Hospitality Group, the restaurant is a wild, retro-chic mashup where Italian sophistication collides with Miami’s bold energy. Sweeping curves, striped leather booths that channel vintage Ferraris, terrazzo floors with metallic inlays, and a black-and-white mosaic pizza oven begging to be photographed.

Inside, the menu is pure Italian joy: housemade pastas, seafood, meats, and the star of the show, Milanese pizza. Light and crisp, the pies range from classic margherita to the truffle-topped indulgence and the fiery piccantissimi with chili pesto and pine nuts. Secondi and desserts follow suit—branzino alla Siciliana, dover sole meunière, and gelato flavors you’ll dream about later. And yes, there’s art. Curated pieces from Basquiat to Takashi Murakami make every glance a mini museum moment.

Le Specialità is located at 40 NE 41st St, Miami, FL 33137. For more information, visit their official website.

Mae’s Room

Mae’s Room, the intimate new den from Ariete Hospitality and Mae’s Group, is where classic drinks meet midcentury-inspired living room vibes. This isn’t just a bar—it’s a proper homage to Mae, the Bronx-born hostess whose warmth and flair would’ve celebrated her 111th birthday this year. Plush booths, olive green tones, walnut wood, and a curated playlist set the stage for sipping done right.

Under the guidance of award-winning bartender Tom Lasher-Walker, cocktails here are always on point. Think the bright, fruity punch of the Hidalgo, the precision-perfect Direct Martini, or Better Than Ever, a smooth sip laced with rye and banana. At Mae’s Room, it’s all about real talk, effortless hospitality, and cocktails worth savoring. Forget TVs and froufrou—just 27 seats, refined drinks, and a space that finally gives Coconut Grove the cocktail scene it’s been missing.

Mae’s Room is located at 3444 Main Hwy, Suite 17, Miami, FL 33133. For more information, visit their official website.

MYKA

Miami, brace yourselves for a yogurt ice cream that might actually change lives. MYKA—the cult obsession that’s been causing serious chaos from Madrid to the Middle East—has decided its first U.S. stop should be the historic Lincoln Theatre. Bold move. But honestly? It fits. Drama loves drama.

Walk in, and it’s like being air-dropped straight into a minimalist Mediterranean daydream. Soft curves, pale tones, that “did I just teleport to Paros?” glow. But the real show is the in-house workshop where MYKA churns out fresh Greek yogurt ice cream daily using yogurt flown in weekly from Greece. Yes, weekly. Miami’s never seen someone commit to dairy like this.

The bases? Classic Greek frozen yogurt made with goat’s kefir, rotating seasonal flavors, fruit sorbets for the lactose-avoidant… all waiting to be smothered under 30+ toppings, including their legendary baklava. (Pro tip: double baklava. No regrets.) MYKA opens December 8 inside the Lincoln Theatre. Miami, get your spoons ready.

Myka is opening at the Lincoln Theatre at 541 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Prince St. Pizza

The New York slice that broke the internet is finally planting a flag on Lincoln Road. Prince St. Pizza—yes, that Prince St., the one with the pepperoni pies that glisten like they’ve been photoshopped—is opening its first Miami brick-and-mortar on December 11. After teasing us with that Wynwood pop-up, they’re back with the full arsenal: those iconic square slices, fresh dough made daily, house sauces you can actually buy, and even a NYC-style water filtration system because they’re not playing around with the crust.

Inside, expect a full glam Miami moment: a pizza-and-palm-tree mural by local artist Bari-Lynn Friedlander, exclusive SIGAL x Prince St. Pizza merch, and slices coming out hot all day. Grab the Spicy Spring™—complete with fra diavolo sauce and shimmering pepperoni cups, a classic. The Naughty Pie is next: spicy vodka, ricotta, and Zab’s hot honey for a little kick. And the vegan slice? Sweet marinara, vegan cheese, basil, and EVOO, that’s just… really good.

Prince St. Pizza is opening at 521 Lincoln Road, Ste 2, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
