The 7 Best Restaurants for Pasta and Wine in Miami

It’s no secret that Miami is a melting pot of diverse cuisines and flavors, and one of the most abundant cuisines here is Italian. For a great plate of pasta and a glass—or bottle—of equally impressive wine, look no further than these seven hotspots.

Casa Tua Cucina

For a laidback pasta and wine experience, consider Casa Tua Cucina at Brickell City Centre. The giant open Italian kitchen serves an assortment of bites, including crudos, pizzas, paninis, and charcuterie.

However, the main attraction is pasta. Menu highlights include the tagliolini cacio e pepe, the gnocchi pomodoro and the fusilli al pesto. If you’re really hungry, the lasagna will certainly fill you up and then some. Cocktails are arguably the main draw drinks-wise, but there’s still plenty of wine to be had. There are no wrong choices here.

Casa Tua Cucina is located at 70 SW 7th St, Miami FL 33130. For more information, visit their official website.

Fiola Miami

At Fiola Miami, the marriage of exceptional food and wine is an art form. Their extensive, carefully curated wine list boasts a diverse selection of Italian and international labels, ensuring the ideal complement to your chosen pasta. Pastas can change, but if you spy the wagyu beef cappelletti or the caviar “carbonara” on the menu, make sure you order at least one of them (but ideally both). This is a fine dining establishment, so expect a hefty price tag, but it’s definitely worth splurging.

Fiola Miami is located at 1500 San Ignacio Ave, Coral Gables, FL 33146. For more information, visit their official website

Fratellino

For a truly romantic and elegant dining experience, visit Fratellino Ristorante in Coral Gables. This neighborhood gem offers gourmet Italian cuisine made with love and high-quality ingredients; you can’t help but feel like family when you’re here. Everyone is so warm and friendly. The food is just as great as the service: Indulge in dishes like fettuccine alla papalina or pappardelle al porcini and complete your meal with a glass of wine from their extensive list. A final note: This article is all about pasta, but you can’t leave without trying the cannoli.

Fratellino is located at 264 Miracle Mile, Miami, FL 33134. For more information, visit their official Instagram.

Ironside Pizza

Tucked away within the vibrant Miami Ironside community, Ironside Pizza is a vibrant restaurant that serves authentic Neapolitan pizza crafted with some of the freshest ingredients you can find.

Pizzas are obviously the main attraction here—there are around a dozen—but there are a few pastas here, and they’re all worth a bite: rigatoni ragu, lasagna bolognese, and baked ziti. Whether you visit for lunch or dinner, this place has you covered.

Macchialina

For an intimate and authentic Italian experience near South of Fifth, look no further than Macchialina in Miami Beach. This award-winning spot is renowned for its handmade pasta dishes and tantalizing wine selection.

Check out favorites like the cavatelli macchialina or spaghetti pomodoro, while enjoying a glass of wine from their masterfully curated list. Better yet, opt for the tasting menu that’s very reasonably priced for the area and the quality. With a Michelin Guide recommendation under its belt, Macchialina is truly a must-visit destination for pasta and wine enthusiasts.

Macchialina is located at 820 Alton Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Primo’s

Located inside Downtown’s Doubletree Grand Hotel, Primo’s is a haven for pasta lovers and wine enthusiasts alike. This charming Italian eatery, which has been around for around two decades, serves up a delectable array of pastas, each dish bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients.

From classic spaghetti and meatballs to delicious seafood linguine and rigatoni bolognese, the menu here offers something to tantalize every pasta palate. Pair your dish with a selection from their extensive wine list or their impressive cocktail list; the espresso martini is a favorite. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a great meal, Primo’s promises to be a good time.

RED South Beach

Tucked away in South of Fifth, RED South Beach delivers an elevated dining experience like no other on this side of town. This award-winning steakhouse has earned a reputation for its impeccably sourced, expertly prepared cuts of beef, cooked to perfection and served with a side of refined elegance.

But there’s more than meets the eye here: Pasta is another big draw, with memorable options like Maine lobster risotto, lobster fra diavolo, and more. The wine list is also one of the larger ones on South Beach, so you can definitely do some damage; take advantage of Wine Wednesdays for significant savings on notable bottles.
