While most of the 305 associates Kaseya Center with the Miami Heat, the Downtown Miami venue is a vibrant hub for concerts, shows and special events year round. Whether you’re attending a heart-pounding concert, a captivating stage performance or even a behind-the-scenes tour, fueling up beforehand or celebrating afterwards is essential.
Fortunately, the area surrounding Kaseya Center boasts a culinary scene as dynamic as the events themselves. Here are six spots to keep on your radar the next time you’re on this side of town.
Barsecco
Located a short MetroMover trek or rideshare away in Brickell, Barsecco offers guests a culinary journey around the world with a bevy of globally influenced fare. From Italian-inspired delights to tacos and burgers, there’s something for everyone at this neighborhood hotspot. The atmosphere is upbeat and perfect for sharing a meal with friends before or after an event, and their outdoor patio is a people-watching haven. The best part? It’s open late every day.
Delilah
For a touch of old Hollywood glamor, Delilah offers an unforgettable dining experience. Inspired by the Roaring ‘20s, their menu features classic American cuisine with a modern twist, and their cocktails are expertly crafted and fun; expect to find witty selections named The Strip, Tease; Champagne Papi; and the Millionaire Martini – to mention a few. The elegant decor and live late-night entertainment make for a cool spot to visit after a show. Since this restaurant is in Brickell, you’ll want to hop on the MetroMover or take an Uber to get here but it won’t take long at all.
Delilah is located at 301 Brickell Key Dr, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.
Jrk!
Experience a taste of the Caribbean with Jrk!’s flavorful Jamaican cuisine. Their jerk chicken, seasoned to perfection, is a fan favorite. Pair it with their rice and peas, pineapple plantains, and a cold Red Stripe beer for a pre-event feast. Don’t feel like building your own bowl? There are signature bowls to remove all guesswork, including our personal favorite: the oxtail, with rice and peas, jerk corn, stir-fried cabbage and slaw. If you visit after the game, stop by Mangrove in the back space for great music and vibes.
Jrk! is located at 95 NW 1st St. Miami FL 33128. For more information, visit their official website.
Night Swim
Cutting it close to concert time? Stop by Night Swim in front of the arena. The rooftop bar has a short and sweet menu of quick bites that will have you in and out in no time (although the view will definitely tempt you to stick around). Selections include ceviche, guac, tuna tartare tacos, black truffle tequenos and truffle grilled cheese. Don’t forget to cool off while you’re here with one of the bar’s frozen creations like the Cafe Colada; they’re booze free but you can add liquor for a few more bucks.
Night Swim is located inside citizenM Miami Worldcenter at 700 NE 2nd Ave 11th Floor, Miami, FL 33132. For more information, visit their official website.
Paperfish Sushi
For sushi lovers, Paperfish Sushi is a must. Located next to Barsecco in Brickell, this stylish spot boasts a sleek, modern interior and an innovative menu that pushes the boundaries of traditional sushi. Their signature rolls are artful creations, combining Peruvian and Japanese influences for a match made in heaven.
If you’re feeling adventurous, don’t miss the omakase experience, where the chef curates a personalized tasting menu that’s ideal for sharing. It’s a splurge, but it’s an experience you won’t soon forget. The restaurant also offers budget-friendly individual platters that are just as tasty without breaking the bank. Try to time your visit during happy hour for the best bang for your buck, food-wise and drinks-wise.
ViceVersa
Tucked away at the Elser Hotel and Residences across from the arena, ViceVersa serves up a chic vibe and a menu that showcases pizzas and negronis galore. Their dishes are perfect for a laidback bite before or after your Kaseya Center experience.
The raw bar features items like tuna tartare and Treasure Coast oysters that are great snacks; for something more substantial, nosh on a margherita or clam pie. While the cocktail menu is full of Italian-inspired libations, plenty of classics are also available (alongside an impressive wine list). Ask about the daily gelato flavors, if you have room for dessert.
ViceVersa is located inside Elser Hotel at 398 NE 5th St, Miami, FL 33132. For more information, visit their official website.
