Day drinking and Ocean Drive are like peanut butter and jelly: a perfect match. CJ’s Crab Shack is ideal for a last-minute brunch because 1) there’s plenty of seating 2) there’s plenty of food and 3) there’s plenty of pours. This South Beach institution is all about seafood—specifically its namesake protein—so prepare to get a little messy cracking some crabs. Other notable dishes include the grouper sandwich, seafood pasta, and drunken shrimp. Wash them all down with a rum punch or mango daiquiri.
CJ’s Crab Shack is located at 600 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
If you and your buds are looking for something a little healthier, make your way over to Lilikoi. The South of Fifth favorite is great for lighter fare that won’t make you hate yourself the rest of the day. Brunch is served all day here, and the menu includes classics like Eggs Benedict, breakfast burritos, and acai bowls. Beer and wine are available, as are Lilikoi’s famous juices and smoothies. Make sure to get the signature lemonade; it’s so good that we had three.
Lilikoi Organic Living is located at 500 South Pointe Drive, Miami, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.
Here’s a fun way to cool off in Miami: chilled lobster rolls. The next time you need to escape the heat on South Beach, pop into either of The Lobster Shack’s two locations. Whether you visit the Lincoln Road store or the South Pointe shop, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the best lobster in town. The name doesn’t tell the whole story either: The Lobster Shack also offers fish tacos, raw bar selections, and even hot dogs and burgers. There’s even a kids menu! Don’t even get us started n the full bar.
The Lobster Shack has multiple locations on Miami Beach. For more information, visit their official website.
If you haven’t heard of Seawell Fish N’ Oyster, it’s only a matter of time. Located inside the Kimpton Angler’s Hotel, Seawell is home to a generous bottomless bubbly brunch. Starting at 8 am, guests can enjoy unlimited bellinis, tropical mimosas, and spritzes for $25 per person (two-hour limit)—that’s a steal for the beach.
With all that booze, you’re going to want to eat a lot. Highlights include the shrimp and grips, shrimp cocktail, lobster mac and cheese, the lump crab and avocado benedict, and the melon salad. The menu is pretty big, so expect to come back next week for more.

Take your brunch to the next level—literally. Serena Rooftop at the Moxy South Beach offers a fun brunch experience loaded with great vibes and delectable Mexican food. Huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and tres leches French toast are just a few of the standouts on this expansive menu. Pro tip: Don’t leave without trying one of the aquachile. Drinks-wise, the menu leans on tequila and mezcal with a few other spirits sprinkled in.

Wine lovers looking for the ultimate Sunday Funday need not look further than Toscana Divino. The Brickell hotspot boasts one of the biggest wine lists in the cities. You could spend days here and not even make a dent in the menu. But wine is just part of the experience here. The other: Toscana Divino’s incredible Italian cuisine. Our recommendations include the pappa al pomodoro, the beef and beet tartare, and the Australian lamb rack. If you still have room, the risotto ai funghi is worth a taste, too.
Toscana Divino is located at 900 South Miami Avenue, #185, Miami, FL 33130. For more information, visit their official website.
