Wednesday, April 3: Donburi Lunch at Wabi Sabi

This Wednesday, join us for lunch at one of our absolute faves—the zen Wabi Sabi nestled in Miami Shores. Our go-to lunch option is one of the restaurant’s absolutely scrumptious bowls: fresh salmon, tuna, or luscious wild blue crab resting atop a canvas of sushi rice, green tea soba, or mixed greens — the choice is yours. To add an extra layer of refreshing crisp alongside these seafood treasures, you’ll find a medley of cucumber, edamame, seaweed, and avocado, all harmonized with a sauce of your choosing, perhaps the wasabi soy or the sesame ginger, lovingly crafted in-house. There’s also a myriad of maki, temaki, sashimi, and nigiri for those looking for a smaller lunchtime bite.

Thursday, April 4: Happy Hour at the New Location of Cana Wine Bar

This Thursday, we’re heading to check out the newly opened second location of Miami’s favorite wine hub—Cana Wine Bar. Opening its doors in the vibrant heart of Coral Way, the wine bar will continue to offer niche boutique wines handpicked by a team of expert chefs and sommeliers. The best part, though, is their Thursday happy hour, from 5 p.m. till late and featuring scrumptious bites from our favorite folks at The Wagyu Bar. Don’t miss out on the wine bar’s full new menu, either. We’re eager to dig into the most exceptional proteins, from AAA Bluefin tuna tataki and Colorado wagyu beef carpaccio to 21+ day dry aged brisket burgers, USDA Prime entrecote ribeye sliced steak, and more. Reservations can be made here.

Cana Wine Bar is located at 2207 Coral Wy, Miami, FL 33145, United States. For more information, visit their official website.

Friday, April 5: Happy Hour at El Vecino

El Vecino, Downtown Miami‘s premier cigar bar and cocktail lounge by the Michelin-recognized Ariete Hospitality Group, offers a sleek and sublime experience. Since its launch in May 2023 at Miami Worldcenter, it has become a hotspot for cigar aficionados, cocktail enthusiasts, and sports lovers alike. The newly introduced happy hour, from 4 to 7 p.m. daily, features ten drink specials, including top-shelf cocktails like the Court Royale (gin, Lillet, apple brandy, and lemon) and Tattletale (scotch, honey, Angostura bitters, and orange) for $12 each, along with wines and beers by the glass ranging from $6 to $14. Expertly curated cigar pairings are also available, guided by El Vecino’s Cigar Program Director, Nicolás Jiménez. You can bet we’ll also be indulging the happy hour specials on oysters on the half shell and the charcuterie board, compliments of Brasserie Laurel, El Vecino’s sister restaurant. See you there!

El Vecino is located at 698 NE 1st Ave Suite 172, Miami, FL 33132. For more information, visit their official website

Sunday, April 7: National Beer Day at Paperfish Sushi

Happy National Beer Day! While every beer lover may have their own favorite spot to enjoy a pint, we’re partial to the inviting izakaya atmosphere, and there’s no better place for us to celebrate than Paperfish Sushi. What’s even better? They have happy hour specials every day, including Sundays! From 4 to 7 p.m., indulge in a variety of Japanese and international brews for just $6.95 each. And to accompany your brews, treat yourself to some delectable beer snacks like miso shishito peppers, edamame, and crispy gyoza, all priced at $7.95. Additionally, they offer a selection of raw bar specialties, including ceviche, Chef’s sashimi, and a variety of rolls. All this goodness awaits in the heart of the vibrant Espanola Way. Kampai!
