Egg aficionados, listen up! Tuesday, April 16, marks National Eggs Benedict Day. Bet that Balan’s does eggs benny just right. Picture this: two perfectly poached eggs smothered in creamy hollandaise, nestled on a toasted English muffin. The best part is you can choose your favorite protein from bacon, ham, spinach, smoked salmon, or crab cake. Or, go all out this Eggs Benedict Day and elevate your brunch game with the Royal Benedict, featuring tender lobster. All options include a choice of breakfast potatoes or mixed greens. Dare we say, it’s totally worth missing your morning meeting for.
Balans is located at 901 S Miami Ave #135, In Mary Brickell Village. For more information, visit their official website.
You already know RED South Beach is the epitome of excellence, and we’re totally vibing with it. They’re serious about their food, just like us. If you’re all about those tipsy Thursdays, get ready to elevate your game with Sea and Champagne Thursdays at RED South Beach. Chef Peter Vauthy is pulling out all the stops for a lavish soirée featuring select oysters on the half shell, decadent caviar, mouthwatering shrimp cocktails, and of course, flowing champagne. This ain’t your average Thursday hangout—it’s a full-on indulgent experience. And here’s the best part—oysters, caviar, and shrimp cocktails are half off, while champagne bottles are 25 percent off! We’ll be eagerly counting down the minutes till Thursday rolls around.
Alright, seasoned epicureans of Miami. This Friday, meet us for omakase at Ogawa. Named after the area itself, Ogawa, meaning Little River in Japanese, is all about that authentic Japanese omakase game. The intimate 12-seat establishment dishes out meticulously crafted delights by Master Chef Masayuki Komatsu one after another, using nothing but the freshest seasonal goodies straight from Japan. You never know what you’ll get this day or that, but a little birdie told us that baby anchovies, firefly squid, and translucent baby eels have been in season across the Pacific. And the drinks? Oh, they’re on point, too—think Suntory Whiskey, Premium Malts beer, and a killer sake and wine selection curated by partner/sommelier Luis Martinez. Then after dinner, join us in the restaurant’s tranquil private Japanese garden for a nightcap.
And the annual 4/20 bash at Caja Caliente is back! On Saturday, April 20, for one day only, indulge in all the $4.20 tacos and beers that your heart desires. The Cuban taco joint will be offering their signature mouthwatering tacos at a discounted price, like the tender Abuela’s lechon and juicy chicken tacos—all served in a large tortilla of choice (corn or flour) with plenty of pico de gallo, avocado, cotija cheese, and aioli. To end the ideal munchies feast, don’t leave without the restaurant’s homemade dessert. Both the guava & cheese empanadas and flan de leche are to die for.
Caja Caliente is located at 95 NE 40th Street, Miami, FL 33137. For more information, visit their official website.
