Tuesday, April 23: National Picnic Day at the Lobster Shack

It’s National Picnic Day, but who needs an excuse to chill outside with the besties? We’re all about vibes, good company, and grabbing a scrumptious bite in nature. Miami Beach is our spot today, and you know we’re hitting up the Lobster Shack for some finger-lickin’ takeout. The menu at the family-run business is straight-up perfect for a picnic. Whether you’re feeling their iconic South Beach lobster roll, dripping with flavor and topped with bacon, avocado, and slaw; or some bomb blackened shrimp tacos, the squad at the Shack got your back. Most likely, though, you’ll catch us snagging a bunch of rolls, a stack of seafood tacos, and a heap of starters like the spinach and artichoke crab dip (warning: highly addictive).

Wednesday, April 24: Lunch at Midorie

Midorie in Coconut Grove is the ideal spot for fast-casual Japanese lunch with true soul. Alvaro Perez Miranda, the mastermind behind Hiyakawa and Ogawa, blesses us with this tranquil haven where simplicity meets authenticity. No music, just vibes focused on the freshest fish flown in straight from Japan. Slide into this cozy spot where lunchtime’s all about savoring the freshest catch. The menu features five classic Japanese dishes done right: fish donburi, maki, nigiri, sashimi, and temaki. Customize your bowl with fresh seafood like Atlantic salmon, yellowfin tuna, wild blue crab, and Japanese yellowtail, served up with crisp veggies and your choice of rice, soba noodles, or mixed greens, topped with house-made sauces bursting with umami. Midorie’s the spot to hit up for a wholesome and delicious lunch that definitely won’t break the bank.

From 5 to 8 p.m., it’s a straight-up indulgence with $6 Dollar Premium Wells featuring top-shelf brands like Ketel One, Selva Rey, Johnnie Walker, Herradura, No 3 Gin, and Teeling. Feeling beer instead? They’ve got you covered with $5 drafts, or take a sip on the wild side with their $10 Cocktail of the Menu. Step into this dark, cozy spot dripping with pool tables, string lights, and flamingo vibes, and you know it’s about to go down. Better Days is a whole vibe, and even celebs like Anderson Pak and Bryan Cranston, amongst many more, have pulled up for a pop-up bartending cameo. Happy sipping!
