Wednesday, May 1: All You Can Eat Pizza Feast at Ironside Pizza

Best Pizza Restaurants in Miami

Pizza lovers, this just in! Arguably, the best Neapolitan pizza spot in town just unveiled any true pizza aficionado’s dream—2 hours of unlimited pizza slices for a set price! Every Wednesday from 5 to 10 p.m., make your way to Ironside Pizza and indulge in all the slices you can handle for only $42, including a drink. The Upper East Side pizza joint prides itself on the most authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pies, with 48-hour fermented pizza dough that is kind to the stomach (just another reason to indulge in some guilt-free AYCE). With 13 different pies to choose from, we can bet you won’t get bored of this offer. Take the opportunity to try some of the pizzeria’s gourmet slices like the parmacotto & ananas, made with mozzarella fior di latte, parmacotto, and pineapple; or the irresistible tronchetto, featuring smoked mozzarella di buffala and fior di latte-stuffed dough topped with prosciutto di parma, arugula, and baby cherry tomatoes. Oof.

Friday, May 3: Dinner at the Michelin Bib Gourmand Award Winning El Turco

This past week, our favorite Turkish restaurant in town, El Turco, has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand Award for the third time in a row! If you have yet to try the exceptional Turkish cuisine at this Upper Buena Vista restaurant, it’s the perfect time to pull up and celebrate with us this Friday. The best thing about El Turco is that it’s as approachable as it is gourmand. We love taking a seat on the shaded patio and watching chefs Mertcan and Onur passionately prepare the most flavorful dishes behind the glass kiosk. If it’s your first time visiting the acclaimed establishment, the extensive menu may be a little tricky to navigate, so here’s the inside scoop on what to order: the exceptionally creamy and garlicky roasted beet hummus; the homemade tiny beef stuffed manti with a generous dollop of garlicky yogurt and caramelized tomato sauce; and the kavurma—out of this world flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth braised beef. Finally, for dessert, without a doubt, it has to be the baklava paired with some Turkish tea.

Saturday, May 4: Crabs and Daiquiris at CJ’s Crab Shack

What to Do in Miami This Week [April 29 - May 5] - CJ's Crab Shack, Coyo Taco, El Turco, Ironside Pizza - November 2024

Miami’s got the groove this week, and CJ’s Crab Shack is where it’s happening! Pop into the nautical family joint and dish out crab cakes. They’re so good; they’re practically legendary. Located right on the South Beach strip, CJ’s is a true exception to the neighboring tourist traps, and we’re not ones to gatekeep. Soak up the scene with one of the Shack’s infamous daiquiris: blue raspberry, mango, or Miami Vice—a local favorite with half pina colada and half strawberry daiquiri. Then move on to the crabs. Snow crab clusters, Alaskan king crab dinner platters, seasonal chilled stone crab—you name it, the world is your oyster!

Sunday, May 5: Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Coyo Taco
