Wednesday, April 10: Mini Mid-Week Getaway at Costa Med

Take a trip with us to the charming culinary oasis that is Costa Med. Located in Key Biscayne, this Mediterranean gem has been consistently luring us in for years with its irresistible delicacies. Prepare your taste buds: let’s start with the Creole tuna tataki, delicately encrusted with Caribbean spices and accompanied by cilantro mayonnaise and ponzu sauce. Next up, the simply sublime caprese avocado salad, with lush Buffalo Mozzarella, sun-kissed tomatoes (currently in peak season in Florida), creamy avocado, aromatic basil, and a drizzle of EVOO. It’s simplicity elevated to perfection. For the main course, we’re sticking with one of our all-time faves: the piccata di vitello al limone—a tender veal delicacy bathed in a white wine and lemon sauce, adorned with capers. A final tidbit of advice: with a diverse menu and rotating seasonal specials, sharing is the best way to savor the array of culinary delights.

Thursday, April 11: Let’s Back to 80s and 90s Party at Cubata

Prepare to traverse through time with us at Cubata this Thursday. Known far and wide for its ridiculously good happy hour and pulsating Latin rhythms, the venue is unleashing an epic 80s and 90s throwback bash of your dreams. Arrive fashionably early to seize a 50 percent discount on all alcoholic beverages — yes, you heard it here first! From spicy bloody marys to tropical pina coladas and a wide selection of beer and wine, the libation options are out of control. And let’s not overlook the delectable tapas like the creamy ensalada rusa, marinated white anchovies, or melt-in-your-mouth beef carpaccio. Now that we’ve got the drinks and tapas settled, it’s time to surrender to the throwback tunes and boogie down on the dancefloor.

Friday, April 12: Traditional Spanish Dinner at Jamon Iberico Pata Negra

This Friday, we’re taking a visit to our newest obsession—Jamon Iberico Pata Negra in Brickell. Here, we’ll be fully indulging in traditional Spanish cuisine, no holding back. This intimate little hidden gem is the perfect place to be if you’re looking for authentic Spanish tapas, paellas, and Iberian wine in an utmost charming setting. Join us as we savor Chef Felipe’s specialties like garbanzos fritos, Jamon Iberico de Bellota 5J huevos rotos de Felipe, and the most luscious and flavorful paella de mariscos you’ll ever witness. The menu is absolutely brimming with specialties from the motherland but rest assured, the warm and knowledgeable staff will guide you through the best picks for the evening, wine included.

Start your feast with classic appetizers like half-dozen oysters, Lyonnaise Salad with avocado, and poached egg, or the decadent charcuterie selection featuring foie gras and country bread. Moving on to the heftier selections, there’s cheesy French onion soup, buttery escargot tartine, and a flawlessly executed croque madame.
