As we unpack Christmas and get ready for yet another New Year’s feast, it’s nice to take a little break in between. Not a break from deliciousness, oh no. We’ll be grabbing a meal on the lighter side that’s equally as delicious as all the holiday feasts. This Wednesday, join us for a meal at Ironside Pizza. The Italian restaurant in no way compromises on flavor while dishing out healthy and abundant plates. In fact, they are committed to serving only quality produce that is local and sustainable whenever possible.
So, what’s on the menu this Wednesday? We’re quite head over heels about the farinata that Ironside Pizza serves—an unleavened chickpea flatbread served with ricotta, prosciutto, and calamata olives. It’s as filling as it is scrumptious without the extra calories. The restaurant’s caprese is arguably the best in town — with juicy beefsteak tomatoes, artisan burrata, and fresh basil, a perfect balance to any meal. Then, moving on to the main attraction there’s both the salmone con verdure, a delectable seared salmon; or the pollo arrosto, succulent oven-roasted chicken breast with fingerling potatoes and mixed greens. You’ll be leaving the restaurant satisfied and full, with zero guilt.
There’s still time to catch those festive holiday specials, and that’s exactly what we are getting into this Friday. Take a sleigh ride with us to Key Biscayne, where RUMBAR has its holiday specialties available all the way until the new year. The Reindeer Room at the RUMBAR will be offering guests seasonal greetings and savory bites like Prancer’s Pizza with truffled mascarpone, arugula, and parmesan; North Pole Salmon—a smoked salmon pate; or Tipsy Reindeer Bread Pudding made with Caribbean rum. Yum.
Feeling thirsty after the ride? The holiday cocktails are as tantalizing as they are creative. You surely don’t want to miss this: Cafecito Coquito & Churritos, made with rum, coconut milk, and espresso. Another highlight on the Reindeer Room menu is the Campfire Porter made with Bourbon, Godiva chocolate liqueur, La Colada Coffee Porter, marshmallow fluff, and a graham cracker rim. Decadent? Very much so. But hey, the Reindeer Room won’t be open again until December 2024, so why not indulge a little?
RUMBAR is located inside the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne at 455 Grand Bay Dr, Key Biscayne, FL 33149. For more information, visit their official website.

The global menu features everything from Korean BBQ bao buns and wood-fired Thai octopus to Lebanese hummus and Persian chicken skewers. There’s no shortage of tantalizing noms here, folks.
