Wednesday, January 31: Wine & Chocolate Tasting Experience at Toscana Divino

This Wednesday evening, join us at Toscana Divino at 5:30 p.m. for a truly divine chocolate and wine-tasting experience. The 2-hour event will include a symphony of artisanal chocolate flavors, from creamy milk chocolates to rich dark ones. The sweet treats will be paired with nothing but the best wines and champagne — premium champagne, Barolo wine, and dessert wine will all tango together to perfectly complement the chocolate. Make sure to get your tickets beforehand, and don’t miss out on this indulgent experience.

Friday, February 2: Omakase at Tanuki River Landing

Tanuki River Landing has earned its spot as one of the city’s best Asian fusion restaurants. It truly has it all—impeccable cuisine, live entertainment, and even a happy hour that will have you frequenting the waterfront restaurant day in and day out. This Sunday, join us for an extravagant omakase experience. The Tanuki Omakase experience, to be exact. The presentation is a feast of all the senses, composed of chef’s choice seasonal fish, an impeccable tuna tartare, and a truffle yellowtail. Compliment the experience with one of the many sake offerings or a signature cocktail. The Violet Geisha is particularly divine, made with cloudy sake, butterfly pea flower, and lychee. Kampai!

Saturday, February 3: at Sweet Melody

What once started as a love letter from founder Michael Romeu to his daughter Melody, Sweet Melody, the beloved Miami ice cream shop is celebrating its 8-year anniversary this February. Indeed, more than just an ice cream shop, Sweet Melody intertwines quality ingredients as well as local and global tastes to tell a story of love, memories, and, of course, flavors. The ice cream parlor also operates a full bakery, making all their ice cream mix-ins from scratch. February 3 marks their 8-year anniversary, and ice cream lovers are invited to stop by their Coral Gables location to purchase a pint of ice cream. One lucky pint will be hiding a Golden Ticket, which will grant you an entire year of free ice cream at Sweet Melody! The Golden Pint can be found at the parlor throughout the month of February, but beware — there is only one. The lucky winner will be able to try all the amazing Sweet Melody flavors without holding back: Abuela’s Flan, Hella Nutella, and the Kooki Monster are the shop’s adored signature flavors. Simultaneously, you’ll always find a rotating selection of seasonal weekly and monthly flavors, including some grand vegan options. Good luck!

Sweet Melody is located at 3814 SW 8th St, Coral Gables, FL 33134. For more information, head to their official website.

Sunday, February 4: EEEEEATSCON MIAMI

This Sunday, join us for the smorgasbord event of the month: EEEEEATSCON MIAMI. The event, organized by The Infatuation, will be the first of its kind in Miami, and trust us, we have our forks equipped and ready. Taking place in Bayfront Park, the foodie fest will showcase the creme de la creme of Miami’s dining scene as well as some out-of-town faves. Expect exquisite sushi, Vietnamese drinking snacks, saucy tacos, and barbecue galore. There will be live music and panels from industry pioneers to complement the noms.

The festival is happening both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Get your tickets beforehand.
