Let’s celebrate National Gluten-free Day with a naturally gluten-free dinner at Cafe Americano. Turning towards a gluten-free diet has definitely been becoming more popular within the past decade. However, bomb diners with gluten-free options are scarcer than hen’s teeth. Luckily, Cafe Americano has it all — swanky green velvet booths, delicious craft cocktails, and a menu chock-full of Latin-inspired diner dishes with gluten-free options.
So, what has our taste buds tingling here? Feast your eyes straight on the specialties menu, and you’ll find gluten-free taco birria. Juicy is an understatement: slow-braised beef tacos come with melted Mexican cheese and a flavor-bomb birria broth, all served on 100% corn tortillas with a side of Mexican street corn. Gourmands also won’t want to skip the branzino served with a Calabrian tomato sauce, arugula and fennel salad, and charred lemon. Your stomach will thank you for this one.
January is all about New Year’s resolutions and “new year, new me” mantras. Unfortunately, most of these only last until about the end of the first week of January. If you’re still going strong with your resolutions or perhaps are just getting a start on them, we recommend checking out the bounty of healthy and wholesome dishes Mau Miami has in store.
There have been many a study stating that the Mediterranean diet is one of the world’s most healthy and well-balanced diets. As per its roots, Midtown Miami’s Medittereanean restaurant, Mau is no short of salubrious noms. Mau certainly makes it known that healthy doesn’t mean lacking in flavor or pleasure. Feast on this: the crowd-pleasing ceviche de coco, made with snapper, papaya, mango, and lime; the refreshing Mau salad made with watermelon, arugula, feta, mint, balsamic glaze, and olive oil; or the juicy salmon served with fennel, kale, and piquillo butter. On the menu, you’ll also find new additions of seasonal sushi and sashimi. Cheers to a healthful year ahead!
Mau Miami is located at 3252 NE 1st Ave #109, Miami, FL 33137. For more information, visit their official website.
Stone crab season is in full spring here in South Florida, and while it’s not forecasted to end anytime soon, we’re always about getting our fair share of the seasonal goodness while it’s around! Join us at CJ’s Crab Shack this Friday, where the family team is slinging all things crab. Stone crab, snow crab, Alaskan king crab, crab, cakes, crab dips, crab salads—you name it, they’ve got it.
Today, we’re here for the irresistible snow crab claws, which come chilled and served with the Shack’s special homemade stone crab sauce. After we’ve indulged in the stone crab appetizer, let’s make it a pure crab feast. You won’t regret getting the spinach and artichoke crab dip, nor the steak, crab, & shrimp platter, which comes with a 16 oz rib-eye grilled to perfection, a snow crab cluster, and five garlic-fried jumbo shrimp.
Delilah is Miami’s newest supper club addition that is yet to celebrate its one-month anniversary, yet has already captured the hearts of the city’s epicureans. Feel as if you are transported straight to the roaring 20s with a troupe of female entertainers lively dancing through boisterous jazz music echoing throughout the vintage-inspired sanctuary. Plushy armchairs, lavish chandeliers giving off a golden glow, and ornate art only serve to elevate the Delilah dining experience.
The supper club menu is brimming with seafood and steak of your most lavish dreams. Here, you can go all out with lounge-style bottle service and a seafood tower of stone crab, shrimp, lobster, fresh-shucked oysters, and ceviche, followed by a 40 oz linz heritage black Angus prime tomahawk steak served with a foie gras demi-glace and topped with grilled lobster. Or, keep it on the downbeat with vodka and Moscato-based Drake’s Spritz cocktail, followed by black truffle wagyu carpaccio and caper sofrito scallops with cauliflower puree, pickled raisins and parsley oil for the main course. Whatever you go with here—it will indubitably be a night for the books.
Delilah is located at 301 Brickell Key Dr, Miami, FL 33101. For more information, visit their official website.
