Wednesday, June 18: International Sushi Day at Paperfish Sushi

When it comes to sushi that delivers both flavor and finesse, Paperfish Sushi sets the bar. On International Sushi Day, skip the gimmicks and head straight for the real thing: perfectly crisped rice topped with creamy tuna in acevichada sauce, torched wagyu nigiri that melts with just the right touch of wasabi, and tightly rolled handrolls packed with flavor.

The standout is hands down the paper tuna—tuna tartare layered with more torched tuna, avocado, nikkei sauce, and chives, all wrapped in delicate rice paper. salmon aburi is another killer, featuring torched salmon laced in truffle oil. For those looking to explore, the omakase menu is where precision meets creativity, featuring bites like buttery uni and pristine toro. Add in a 48-hour miso-marinated black cod and a punchy wasabi martini, and it’s no surprise this izakaya-style spot draws regulars night after night.

Thursday, June 19: Aperitif Time at Claudie

Claudie

This just in: Claudie is debuting Aperitif Time, a new early-evening ritual that brings South of France flair to the heart of Brickell. Available Sunday through Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the bar (no reservations needed), this chic offering features $10 cocktails like the riviera royale, rouge de Saint-Tropez, and crusta de soleil, plus select wines and bubbly.

To pair, expect elevated Mediterranean bites like l’apéritif au caviar and the sous le soleil experience —a sun-drenched tasting of mini gazpacho, beef tartare, marinated peppers, and more. With its breezy indoor-outdoor bar, live acoustic sets, and laid-back elegance, Claudie sets the perfect tone for summer evenings. Come solo, with a date, or your full crew — just don’t miss this new golden-hour gem.

Claudie is located at 1101 Brickell Avenue S-113, Miami, FL 3313. For more information, visit their official website.

Friday, June 20: New Menu Items at Ironside Pizza

Our go-to Neapolitan spot in Miami just dropped a new summer menu, and it’s made for sharing. Designed with groups in mind, the latest additions invite you to gather, graze, and savor together. Among the highlights: a baked ricotta dip that’s pure comfort, layered with olives, and scamorza alla brace — fire-grilled smoked mozzarella paired with cherry tomatoes and oregano. We’re already in love.

The new la tavolata section brings a family-style Italian feast to the table. Choose pasta night (two starters, two pastas, and seasonal veggies for $32 per person), or go all-in with the giro pizza experience: two starters and unlimited rotating pies for just $29 per person (six-person minimum). It’s casual yet elevated, perfect for a night out with friends or an easygoing celebration. Just bring your appetite and your stretchy pants. Ironside continues to prove that relaxed dining and high-quality Italian cooking can absolutely go hand in hand.

Saturday, June 21: Dinner at Carpaccio

Carpaccio is one of those rare gems where no matter what you order, it hits the mark every time. The menu is extensive yet never overwhelming, offering a range of options that includes wood-fired pizzas, al dente pastas, focaccia sandwiches, risottos, and perfectly executed proteins. It’s the kind of place you can return to weekly and still find something new to crave.

This time, we’re leaning into the dish that started it all: the carpaccio. True to its name, Carpaccio serves theirs with filet mignon or fresh fish as the base. Our go-to is the artichoke and parmigiano filet mignon carpaccio — delicate, flavorful, and impossibly tender. But the Fantasia is just as tempting: a trio of salmon, tuna, and octopus drizzled with a bright lemon-lime vinaigrette. Set against the backdrop of the Bal Harbour Shops, this iconic Italian restaurant continues to serve up timeless dishes in a luxurious, yet relaxed setting.
