Kitchen 57 is making summer lunch simple yet incredibly satisfying. Their new $16.99 lunch special includes a starter, an entrée, and a drink, all without cutting corners or flavor. Starters range from crisp Brussels sprouts with lemon aioli to yucca fries with mojo crema. Mains cover everything from stacked sandwiches, burgers, and pizza, to solid entree options like a quarter rack of ribs with fries and slaw or rigatoni with chicken in a creamy ricotta cheese sauce.

The variety is wide, the pacing is fast, and the quality holds up whether you’re sitting down for a solo break or catching up with a coworker. If you’re around and hungry between meetings or errands, this summer deal is worth the stop—bet you’ll see us there.

Kitchen 57 is located at 7301 SW 57th Ct STE 100, South Miami, FL 33143. For more information, visit their official website.

Wednesday, June 25: Summer Wine Club at Makoto

- -

Bal Harbour’s iconic rooftop just got a little more interesting. Makoto is launching the Summer Wine Club, a new monthly series designed for those who enjoy sipping their wine while taking in wonderful sunset views. Held on the last Wednesday of every month, the evening unfolds on Makoto’s sleek new roof deck—an elevated setting (literally) for a curated tasting of seven standout wines, paired with light bites and led by the restaurant’s expert sommeliers.

Priced at only $60 per person, expect Makoto’s signature elegance, a lively crowd, and a lineup of wines worth talking about. From first pour to last sip, Summer Wine Club is your new reason to make midweek plans. Reservations are a smart move — this is Bal Harbour, after all.

Makoto is located at 9700 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33154. For more information, visit their official website.

Friday, June 27: Happy Hour at Paya

- -

At Paya, happy hour runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. daily, which is exactly why you’ll find us sipping on some tropical cocktails at the South Beach gem till dawn. We’ll be starting with something shaken—house cocktails like the irresistible guava mojito or papaya-infused bourbon aperol are just $10, best enjoyed at the bar with a glistening plate of $2 oysters. Unbeatable.

But it’s the food that steals the scene. Delicate scallop crudo laced with passion fruit, truffle brie grilled cheese served with mango jam on Sullivan Street sourdough (yes, it’s as indulgent as it sounds), and tamarind-glazed lamb chops—each bite a whisper of the islands, kissed with spice and sunshine. Settle in under the palms, sip slowly, and let the rhythm of the evening carry you.

Paya is located 1209 17th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website.

Saturday, June 28: National Ceviche Day at Costa Med

Costa Med - For Light Bites and Drink in Miami

If you’re doing National Ceviche Day right, you’re doing it at Costa Med. This Key Biscayne staple has been serving elevated continental cuisine for nearly two decades, and their Fresh corvina ceviche is the definition of why. Made with premium Surinam corvina and dressed in their signature leche de tigre, this dish hits every citrusy, savory note you crave. Served with golden, crispy tostones for that perfect crunch, it’s bright, balanced, and borderline addictive.

Costa Med isn’t your average island bistro. From foie gras to housemade bucatini and one of the best wine cellars on the island, it’s where elegance meets comfort. And while our eyes run wild at the sight of the scrumptious Mediterranean-inspired menu, Costa Med does a wonderful job of fusing the various cultures and cuisines found in SoFlo. Trust, this is one ceviche you don’t want to miss.
