Wednesday, November 6: Altitude & Attitude: A High Wine Experience at RED South Beach

Elevate your wine experience to new heights with Altitude & Attitude: A High Wine Experience at our favorite steakhouse, RED South Beach. Join us from 6 to 8 p.m. for an exclusive evening that celebrates the thrill of high-altitude wines crafted in the world’s loftiest vineyards. We’ll be savoring the unique notes of Provins L’Alpage Chassellas from Valais, Switzerland, the vibrant Arpepe Rosso di Valtellina (Nebbiolo) from Italy’s Valtellina region, and the bold Antica by Antinori Mountain Select Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley’s Atlas Peak.

The expert sommelier at RED will guide vino enthusiasts through this high-elevation tasting, perfectly paired with delectable appetizers crafted by none other than Chef Peter Vauthy. As a special treat, enjoy 50% off the wines sampled, and store your favorites free for up to 3 months at the steakhouse’s Wine Lockers (minimum purchase of 6 bottles). Guests can secure early access to the Wine Locker Program, unlocking perks like waived corkage, priority reservations, and VIP invites to upcoming wine dinners. Reserve your spot as soon as you can, as spaces are limited. Oh! And make sure to use “WINE5” for an exclusive Dish Miami discount. Get your tickets here.

Thursday, November 7: Lunch at the Lobster Shack

If you find yourself in Miami Beach during lunchtime, grabbing a bite at the Lobster Shack is a no-brainer. The family-run lobster establishment has two locations in Miami Beach and serves up all kinds of crustacean goods, from their classic rolls to tacos, salads, and big seafood platters.

Naturally, you can’t go wrong with picking up a roll—we’re big fans of the Cajun lobster roll that’s served warm with Cajun sauce and seasoning for an extra kick. It’s hard not to add an extra side of lobster bisque for just $4.95 extra, and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing. If you have some extra time on your hands before heading back to work, take a nice stroll along the beach to boost your mood and lift those post-lunch sleepies.

Friday, November 8: Dinner at Costa Med

Join us for an exquisite Mediterranean dinner this Friday evening. We’re taking a trip out to Key Biscayne because we know Costa Med never disappoints. If you’ve yet to make the trek, we suggest skipping your usual neighborhoods and checking out the cute bistro just a 15-minute drive out of Miami. Quaint as it may be, Costa Med has earned a loyal following from both locals and celebs alike, and you never know who you might find dining here.

This evening we’re keeping it classy and starting off with some tried and true delicacies like the Mediterranean mussels in an aromatic Provencal sauce, carpaccio di Manzo—a Tuscan-style Angus tenderloin beef carpaccio with a house lemon dressing, and a rainbow salad that’s perfect for the cooler time of year, filled with radicchio, endives, arugula, nuts, and gorgonzola, all in a nutty sesame dressing. As for the main, you can’t go wrong with any of the bistro’s homemade pasta, like the pappardelle ai funghi porcini with the perfect hints of truffle oil. Grab a glass or two of white wine to round it all out and enjoy the luxurious yet approachable feast.

Saturday, November 9: Dinner at La Natural

When we’re choosing where to go for dinner, looking for something that never disappoints, and where we don’t need to flip through the menu for hours, La Natural is the clear choice. La Natural is a true Little River gem (albeit a hidden one) that serves up natural wines and sourdough pizza in a minimalist and earthy setting.

The menu is short and sweet, consisting of several appetizers, pizzas, and a couple of desserts. The dishes are all listed by the ingredients they consist of—another minimalist approach with zero fluff.  As the weather gets cooler, we love opting for the charred carrots served with Aleppo honey and labneh or the roasted squash with burned scallions and ras al hanout. For our pizza, we’ll be going with the white sauce, prosciutto speck, and basil pie. Simple yet irresistibly delicious. Make sure to ask for a natural wine pairing for your meal—the owners of La Natural are true masters of their craft.
