Fall Flavors at Black Sheep Coffee
Yup, it’s that time of year. Miami may still be sweating through 90-degree days, but Black Sheep Coffee is already in its pumpkin spice era, and we’re not mad about it. The fall menu is bringing back the classics with a few more interesting twists, including a pumpkin spice cold brew latte with cold foam, pumpkin spice matcha latte, and the classic pumpkin spice latte.
The real newcomer to try is hojicha, the roasted Japanese green tea now joining the menu full-time. Go for the salted caramel and macadamia hojicha latte if you like your drinks nutty, creamy, and just sweet enough, or swap the hojicha for ceremonial-grade matcha. There’s also a maple and pecan acai bowl for a little fall flavor without the PSL.

Mexican Independence Day at Cantina La Veinte
Get ready to yell “¡Viva México!” in Brickell. This Tuesday, September 15, Cantina La Veinte is celebrating the eve of Mexican Independence Day with an evening of traditional Mexican food, tequila and mezcal, live mariachi, and DJ tunes along the waterfront.
The big moment comes around 11 p.m., when the restaurant joins in El Grito, the iconic midnight-ish shout that officially kicks off Independence Day celebrations across Mexico. While you’re there, order the chiles en nogada, one of Mexico’s most beloved seasonal dishes, which Cantina is serving throughout September. It’s stuffed with picadillo and topped with walnut sauce and pomegranate for a festive red, white, and green situation.

Boho’s Final Four Nights
Sadly, Boho is closing. However, it is giving Miami four more nights to make some questionable late-night decisions first. After six years in Edgewater, the intimate nightlife spot is going out with a four-night farewell from September 16 through 19, with each night bringing back DJs and sounds that helped shape the space over the years.
Expect deep house, soulful sets, and Afro-house, with Axel Bayo, Gardy Girault, Jarell, 305Mandy, and more on the lineup. Access is by invitation, with requests now open at bohoedgewater.com/closing, so if Boho has ever kept you out way past your bedtime, this is your last chance to request a spot before the doors close on this chapter.

Friday, September 18
Miami Worldcenter Night Market
Friday nights are getting a new after-dark hangout downtown. Miami Worldcenter is launching its Night Market on September 18, bringing more than 40 local vendors to its main promenade from 5 to 9 p.m. Expect everything from handcrafted jewelry and accessories to specialty matcha, bubble tea, desserts, art, beauty finds, and plenty of snacks, plus live music and vendor activations.
A few names to look out for include Munay Matcha, Banana Daddy Miami, La Victoria, Fiorella World, and Yolyanko Art. The market will run every Friday, with string lights and plenty of reasons to shop, snack, and stick around a little late.

Saturday, September 19
Race to Space
Trade your Saturday morning run for a slightly more fun destination: Club Space. On September 19, Race to Space returns for its second round, kicking off at House of Transformation with a two-mile run to Club Space, followed by post-run recovery and a little dance-floor fuel in the Loft.
Your $40 ticket gets you entry after 7 a.m., Raccoon Coffee, a first-come, first-served massage, a Space Odyssey grilled cheese, and one Rolus. Meet at House of Transformation at 7 a.m., with the run taking off at 7:30 a.m. Clock in two miles, clock out with grilled cheese, coffee, and a massage at Club Space. Get your tickets through DICE.

La Mar Returns to Miami
La Mar is back, baby—well, sort of. For four Saturdays this fall, Chef Diego Oka is bringing some of the beloved La Mar flavors back to Miami with a limited-time dinner at JARANA. Running September 19 through October 10, the reservation-only experience features a three-course tasting menu packed with Peruvian favorites.
The lineup includes causa crab, tiradito lujoso, cebiche chifa, conchitas Oka, el achupado, and a crispy whole yellowtail snapper with Nikkei sauce. The $90 dinner also comes with complimentary chips and ají amarillo sauce, plus a few La Mar-inspired touches throughout the space. If you were mourning the original Brickell Key La Mar, consider this your excuse to get reacquainted. Reservations are required.

Sunday Football Club at Grand Public
Football Sundays just found a new home in Coconut Grove. Grand Public Kitchen & Bar is kicking off its weekly Sunday Football Club, turning its sprawling indoor-outdoor space into an all-day game-day hangout with big screens, NFL RedZone, and plenty of fuel for the afternoon.
Grab a 3-liter beer tower or 1.5-liter margarita tower for the table, then dig into the Sunday Football Platter loaded with Wagyu sliders, Bang-Bang chicken bites, spinach artichoke fritters, and truffle fries. Come 4 p.m., a live DJ takes over until 8 p.m., because apparently football and a little day drinking weren’t enough entertainment on their own. Sundays from 11 a.m. through football season—even those who aren’t that into the sport are bound to enjoy this one.
