Friday, May 17: Dinner at Hiyakawa

The Best Asian restaurants in Miami

Join us for an impeccable dining experience at Hiyakawa this Friday night. This culinary gem promises an intimate rendezvous for groups of 2-4, ensuring a personal and immersive dining experience. Prepare to be captivated by an exquisite symphony of service, presentation, and flavor, where each meticulously carved fish dish is a masterpiece. Hiyakawa transcends mere dining, it’s a sensory escapade designed to transport you to the refined sushi bars of Tokyo. Browsing through the menu, we like to pick a few specialties that we wouldn’t be able to taste in other Japanese restaurants. Perhaps the grilled A5 Hitachi wagyu, the perfectly executed sweet Japanese omelet nigiri, or the melt-in-your-mouth Japanese sea scallop and shiso handroll. Hiyakawa beckons for you to save room for dessert, and we’ll be doing just that, with delectable options of black sesame sorbet or yuzu creme brulee to choose from.

Saturday, May 18: Burgers and Wine at Grand Central

Come with us to experience the essence of American bistro cuisine at Grand Central by Nuno Grullon, a must-visit spot in Miami. While the menu focuses on a fine selection of elevated American classics, we’re making the trip to feast on what started the venture: the Grand Central Burger. This burger features two seared Black Angus patties nestled between house-baked brioche buns, adorned with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and house-made pickles, all elevated by the signature Grand Central secrete sauce and served with the most flawless fries. It’s burger perfection. Period. One final tip: ask for a wine pairing for the burger. The experience totally calls for it.
