It’s Taco Tuesday, and you can find us at the city’s premier restaurant and lounge to see and be seen: Barsecco. Grab a seat in the dimly lit and seductively lit lounge area where socialistas gather every Tuesday over tacos and margaritas. Here’s the scoop: indulge in tacos and margaritas to your satisfaction, all for $8 each. First pass around the Barsecco signature margaritas made with Jose Cuervo tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, and a dash of agave. Then it’s time for the saucy and flavorful tacos like the grilled Baja chicken tacos with smoked bacon and spicy mayo or the irresistible birria tacos served on crispy corn tacos filled with slow braised birria brisket and accompanied by the birria dipping broth. We can bet this will become a recurring Tuesday night rendezvous.
Happy National Pizza Day! If you were partaking in a healthy and dry January, why not indulge a little this Friday? This Pizza Day, you can find us at Ironside Pizza, our favorite pizza restaurant in Miami. Ironside Pizza makes authentic Neapolitan-style pizza in a wood-fired oven. The pizza dough is fermented for 48 hours and only uses four simple ingredients: flour, salt, water, and yeast. The result: a soft and scrumptious pizza dough that’s plenty healthier and more digestible than the one at your typical pizza joint. So what are we ordering to celebrate? Ironside serves three varieties of pizza: the gourmet, the classic, and the bianca, made without tomato sauce. Our favorite—the gourmet pizza Tronchetto, made with smoked mozzarella di buffala and fior di latte-stuffed dough, and topped with fresh prosciutto di parma, arugula, cherry tomatoes, and grana padano cheese. This is one for the books, folks. The best part? Ironside Pizza accommodates gluten-free and vegan diets, too, ‘cause no one should miss out on good pizza, no?
