Miami Spice turned 25 this year, and it’s celebrating with more than cake. The program, running through September 30, brings a wave of first-time participants, expanded menus, anniversary exclusives, and immersive dining experiences that give you more ways to eat your way through the city.

Starting at $95 at select restaurants, Miami Spice Reserve is a new premium tier of elevated tasting menus and culinary experiences that go beyond the traditional three-course format. The anniversary celebration also includes collaborations with The Tank Brewing Co., Tabañero, and Voodoo Doughnut, plus one-off experiences like a chef’s table dinner at DOYA and a dinner-and-a-show package at Faena Theater.

In our last Miami Spice guide, we rounded up the restaurants we’re most excited to book this season. This time, we’re covering the additions to this year’s program and the exclusive experiences worth booking before the season ends.

A Dinner with the Chef at DOYA

Instagram

If you’ve ever wished you could skip the dining room and head straight into the kitchen, this is about as close as it gets. As part of Miami Spice’s 25th anniversary celebration, DOYA is hosting a Dinner with the Chef, a one-night-only chef’s table experience that goes well beyond the traditional prix fixe menu. Limited to 12 guests, the family-style dinner puts DOYA’s Aegean cooking in front of you alongside the team that makes it. The $105 experience includes five cold mezze, five hot dishes, two handcrafted cocktails, and three desserts.

Know before you go: Dinner with the Chef happens once, on September 10 at 7 p.m., with just 12 seats, so it will sell out well before the calendar gets there. If you can’t make it, DOYA is still running its regular Miami Spice menus every day, at $40 for lunch and $65 for dinner.

DOYA is located at 347 NW 24th St., Miami, FL 33127 (Wynwood). For more information, view their Dinner with the Chef experience.

CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro Joins Miami Spice

Three shareable dishes at CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro in Miami Beach

When restaurateur Mo Alkassar debuted CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro in Miami Beach earlier this year, he set out to build a restaurant that reads the bold flavors of Asia through a playful, contemporary lens. The result is an energetic, design-forward room where colorful plating, funky music, and shareable dishes come together. That spirit carries into the $50 Miami Spice dinner, which works as a proper introduction to the kitchen. It features standouts like duck fried rice served in ceramic takeout boxes, richly spiced khao soi lamb neck, and the house-made chili garlic crisp.

Know before you go: CHŌ’s Spice dinner runs all seven nights, making it one of the easiest bookings on this list if your schedule is packed. And here’s some tea worth spilling: don’t leave without ordering the Spill the Tea, a shareable cocktail served in a teapot with vodka, nigori sake, lychee jasmine tea, lemon, and grapefruit.

CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro is located at 1209 17th St., Miami Beach, FL 33139 (Miami Beach). For more information, view their full Miami Spice menu.

Dinner and a Show at Faena Theater

Why settle for dinner when you can make a night of it? As part of Miami Spice’s 25th anniversary celebration, Faena Theater is pairing its OBSESSION cabaret with a curated three-course dinner for one of the more memorable bookings in this year’s lineup. Step inside the 150-seat jewel box and take third-row orchestra seating for an evening of live music and old Hollywood glamour, paired with your choice of appetizers, entrées, and desserts. Whether you’re celebrating something or just want Miami Spice in a different key, this one proves the best reservations aren’t always about what’s on the plate.

Know before you go: The dinner-and-a-show package is $200 per person. Consider this your cue to book early—OBSESSION performs Thursdays at 8 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with limited seating.

Faena Theater is located at 3201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33140 (Miami Beach). For more information, visit Miami Spice at Faena Theater.

Ikigai Sushi Bar’s New Menu Options

Instagram

Already one of the city’s standout destinations for Japanese cooking, Ikigai returns to Miami Spice with more reasons to book. This year’s expanded lunch menu gives you more room to explore the kitchen’s refined take on Japanese flavors. New additions include donburi bowls topped with premium cuts of bluefin tuna, salmon, hamachi, and unagi, alongside udon rib-eye, shrimp gyozas, thinly sliced ribeye tacos, and a selection of specialty maki. If dinner isn’t in the cards, the expanded lunch lineup makes it easier to get into one of Brickell Key’s hidden gems.

Know before you go: If choosing just one roll sounds impossible, you’re in the right place. Dinner continues to spotlight Ikigai’s omakase-style experience, giving guests the chance to sample a curated selection of nigiri, maki, and sashimi. Both the $40 lunch and $65 dinner menus are offered every day during Miami Spice.

Ikigai Sushi Bar is located at 615 Brickell Key Dr., Miami, FL 33131 (Brickell Key). For more information, view their full Miami Spice menu.

Maple & Ash’s Four-Course Feast

The Chicago steakhouse import is doing Miami Spice for the first time, and it’s the kind of elevated experience the restaurant built its name on. Co-founded by Michelin-starred chef Danny Grant, Maple & Ash reimagines the traditional steakhouse with a high-energy room and an indulgent menu, and it landed at Miami Worldcenter last year. Its $95 Miami Spice Reserve experience delivers a four-course feast that opens with the fire-roasted seafood tower for the table, followed by your choice of starters, premium steaks or seafood, and desserts. In other words: come hungry. You’ll get a taste of the restaurant’s signature extravagance without committing to its “I DON’T GIVE A F*@K” tasting menu.

Know before you go: Ask about the Eight Bar version too. At $45, it’s a three-course, more casual take on the same experience.

Maple & Ash is located at 699 NE 1st Ave., 2nd Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (Downtown). For more information, view their full Miami Spice menu.

At $155 per guest, the menu unfolds over multiple courses, opening with seabream carpaccio, wagyu gyoza, and chicken yakitori. From entrées like the seared salmon and beef tenderloin to the signature miso ice cream, it’s one of the most elevated experiences available during Miami Spice.

Say Bonjour to Bagatelle

The signature Tropézienne brioche cake at Bagatelle Miami River

Born in New York and inspired by the glamour of St. Tropez, Bagatelle has built a global reputation for bringing the French Riviera to some of the world’s most sought-after destinations. Now the group’s Miami River outpost is joining the Miami Spice lineup for the first time, giving you a chance to try its French Mediterranean cooking at a fixed price. Bagatelle’s $65 three-course dinner pulls from the restaurant’s favorites, including black angus beef tartare, ravioli del plin, and the signature Tropézienne, a brioche cake filled with Madagascar vanilla cream.

Know before you go: Bagatelle’s Miami Spice menu runs Wednesday through Saturday, dinner only. For the full Riviera treatment, add the optional wine or cocktail pairing.

Bagatelle Miami River is located at 311 NW S. River Dr., Miami, FL 33128 (Miami River). For more information, view their full Miami Spice menu.

The Mexican’s Miami Spice Debut

Instagram

Following the success of its Dallas flagship, The Mexican made its Miami debut earlier this year, bringing its take on northern Mexican cooking to Brickell. With waterfront views of Biscayne Bay and an interior drawn from Mexican art and architecture, the restaurant pairs traditional northern flavors with contemporary technique. Its $40 lunch and $65 dinner menus are among the season’s better values, with dishes like aguachile, tortilla soup, and morita marlin tacos, plus a cocktail list that adds a local read on the format.

Know before you go: The Miami Spice menu runs Tuesday through Friday only. There’s no weekend availability, so plan a weekday lunch or dinner if you want the full experience.

The Mexican is located at 601 Brickell Key Dr., Miami, FL 33131 (Brickell Key). For more information, view their full Miami Spice menu.
