Where to Celebrate a New Job in Miami

Congrats on the new job! Where are you celebrating? A (hopefully) bigger salary means it’s time to treat yourself. Check out these seven spots to kick off your career’s next chapter.

Barsecco

Step into the vibrant heart of Brickell at Barsecco, where stylish surroundings and lively energy create the perfect backdrop for celebrating your success. Devour delectable small plates brimming with fresh flavors and playful combinations. The menu features influences from all over the globe, so expect to find everything from burgers and pizzas to tacos and pastas.

Explore their curated selection of bubbly cocktails or opt for a tasty cocktail while you revel in the excitement of your new career path. The place is open late every day, so there’s never a bad time to stop by.

Barsecco is located at 1421 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33130. For more information, visit their official website.

Costa Med

Escape to the Mediterranean with a visit to Costa Med in Key Biscayne. From the first bite, you’ll be transported to a seaside escape. The menu has it all: succulent meats, delicious pastas, delectable seafood, and more all in an intimate space. Because the place is on the smaller side, we do suggest reservations. While you’re here, take a peek at the wine list; it’s small but mighty. Cheers to the new gig!

Costa Med is located at 260 Crandon Blvd Suites 45 & 46, Key Biscayne, FL 33149. For more information, visit their official website.

Cubata

Experience the soul of Miami with a night at Cubata in Little Havana. Savor authentic Cuban dishes bursting with flavor and soak up the infectious energy fueled by live music. Highlights on the menu are many: croquettes, garlic shrimp, vichyssoise, beef tenderloin, and white sea bass ceviche—to name a few. Prices are surprisingly affordable for Little Havana, so have at it, champ. And, of course, don’t leave without trying a mojito.

Cubata is located at 1605 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135. For more information, visit their official Instagram.

RED South Beach

For a truly extravagant celebration, RED South Beach checks all the boxes. Enjoy exquisite steaks, from prime cuts to Japanese Wagyu, all showcased amidst a luxurious setting. Their extensive wine list, with hundreds of impressive selections, adds another layer of sophistication. Toast your new journey in style and make it a celebration to remember.

Paperfish Sushi

If you’re a sushi lover, Paperfish Sushi delivers a delightful dining experience. Indulge in impeccably prepared rolls and innovative dishes at their stylishly modern space in Brickell. The restaurant fuses Peruvian and Japanese influences for a match made in heaven.

Looked at the menu and can’t decide on which delicious dishes to eat? No worries: The omakase lets you enjoy the greatest hits. Our pro tip: Stop by early to enjoy one of the best happy hours in the neighborhood.

Paperfish Sushi is located at 1421 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.

Rao’s Miami Beach

For classic Italian fare, look no further than Rao’s Miami Beach at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The New York restaurant has made its way to sunny South Florida, bringing its famous meatballs and other treats along with it. Don’t expect to find anything particularly exciting or out of the box; this is just traditional Italian food done right. Besides the meatballs, make sure you order the linguini carbonara and veal Milanese. And the tiramisu is always a good time.

Rao’s Miami Beach is located at 1601 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Talavera

Immerse yourself in the flavors of Mexico at Talavera. This upscale Coral Gables eatery elevates traditional dishes, offering everything from flavorful tacos to refined moles and so much more. The expertly crafted margaritas are a must, as are the large format plates like the short rib in birria broth. The menu is massive, so treat yourself to a little bit of everything—a celebration is in order, after all.

Talavera is located at 2299 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Coral Gables, FL 33134. For more information, visit their official website
