Geoffrey Anderson

As the Fourth of July approaches, Miami’s culinary scene is ready with a diverse array of dining options to satisfy every palate. Whether you’re seeking a casual beachside seafood feast, an elegant steakhouse experience, or a taste of international flavors, the Magic City has you covered.

Here are several Miami hotspots that promise to elevate your Independence Day weekend with delicious food.

Amara at Paraiso

Miami’s iconic waterfront destination, Amara at Paraiso, by James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Schwartz, is lighting things up for the Fourth of July. Friends and families can spark things up the holiday this year with a festive evening filled with music, sparklers, fireworks and their spin on a traditional BBQ. Throughout the evening, Executive Chef Ivan Barros and recent winner of Food Network’s cooking competition series, Ciao House will be preparing specialty items on an outdoor grill.

Offerings include a Uruguayan delicacy: a Chivito Sandwich topped with filet mignon, bacon, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, aioli, and a fried egg; a refreshing Watermelon Salad tossed with whipped feta, salsa macha, toasted pumpkin seeds, and mint; and Caviar Corn Dogs.

Other highlights include their signature Amara Burger, topped with applewood-smoked bacon, aged cheddar, tomato, bib lettuce, and mayo, served with French fries ($30).

During the Independence Day feast, diners can get into the holiday spirit with sparklers and beats by DJ Astro. As Amara at Paraiso also has some of the views in town, guests will get a front-row seat for the neighboring firework shows.
