Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2023

St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner – and it’s on a Friday this year! Where will you be celebrating? If you need a few ideas, you’ve come to the right place:

American Social Bar & Kitchen

John Martin’s

Miami’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day Festival returns! Grab your crew and celebrate the holiday at JohnMartin’s St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival on Miracle Mile. JohnMartin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant has partnered with the City of Coral Gables and the Irish Consulate to host the 30th annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival.

On Friday, March 17th starting at 4:00 pm until midnight on the streets of Miracle Mile and Salzedo, guests can enjoy tasty Irish eats and drinks, Guinness and beers, live bands, entertainment, bar stations, games, and more! The festival will offer delicious dishes from JohnMartin’s, including Irish fan-favorites such as the Bangers & Mash, Cornbeef & Cabbage, Guinness Beer Burgers, JohnMartin’s Signature Wings with Irish BBQ, and Mini Pork Osso Bucco. The all-day drink special includes a free Harp Lager with the purchase of any Irish Whiskey shot. Free to attend, guests will be able to RSVP for a complimentary shot glass bead necklace upon arrival.

John Martin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is located at 253 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL 33134. For more information, visit their official website

Oh! Mexico

Looking for the perfect place to people watch on St. Patrick’s Day? Perfectly perched at the entrance of Miami Beach’s charming Espanola Way is Oh! Mexico, a Miami Beach gem for locals and visitors since its earliest days as one of the island’s first Mexican restaurants. The Mexican mainstay has been servicing South Florida authentic cuisine for 25 years. On Friday, March 17, Oh! Mexico will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Shamrock Shots ($8), a mix of house tequila and apple pucker all day long.

Oh! Mexico is located at 1440 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. For more information, visit their official website

Paperfish Sushi

Another great people-watching perch is Paperfish Sushi, also located on Espanola Way. The Japanese restaurant may not have any specific St. Patrick’s Day specials, but its weekday happy hour is already a steal. $6.95 drinks and food like gyoza, rolls, and ceviche are perfect for starting your St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl or just taking a break from all the crowds. Cheers!

Shoma Bazaar

Enjoy a shamrockin’ good time at Shoma Bazaar! The local food hub is offering mouth-watering St. Patrick’s Day specials through the end of the month. The March specialty cocktail “Feeling Lucky” ($12)  is made with 1 ½ ounce whiskey, 2 ounces of schnapps, and 1-ounce liqueur. This green drink is topped off with an Airhead Extreme and sugar rimming to bring out the luck of the Irish.

After sipping this delicious cocktail, head over to BFF Burgers for its March special the ‘Shillelagh’ ($16). This heavenly burger consists of a house blend all-beef patty, corned beef, grainy mustard, swiss cheese, cabbage, carrots and thousand island dressing. It’s time to paddy like the Irish do at Shoma Bazaar!

Shoma Bazaar is located at 9420 NW 41st Street, Doral, FL 33178. For more information, visit their official website

Salt & Straw

The Portland-based ice cream brand will be highlighting one of the flavors in its Cereal-sly Delicious Series to celebrate St.Patrick’s Day this year. The Pots of Gold & Rainbows is a legendary favorite – the Salt & Straw team hand-sorts the luck from the charms, steeping the whole-grain cereal in cream for that bottom-of-the-bowl sweetened milk flavor before stirring in mountains of rainbow marshmallows. While the flavor is available in a cup, cone or by the pint, in celebration of the holiday, guests will be able to order an Over the Rainbow Milkshake made with the specialty flavor.

Salt & Straw has multiple Miami locations. For more information, visit their official website.
